This is absolutely the worst cat litter i have ever used. I'm handicapped, and was looking forward to a lightweight litter. BUT: It's entirely too dusty, makes ME and the KITTIES sneeze. Because it's so fine textured, it flies out of the covered litterbox at the slightest scratching by a kitty. There is absolutely NO odor control, have to keep dumping deodorizer and baking soda in the boxes, several times per day.

I was excited not to lug around a heavy bucket of litter, but as time went on I realized it was too good to be true. My cat has successfully flipped the litter box three times and this litter does not control odor. Even after I scoop, the smell of the litter itself is strong. The dust seems to be worse too as I'm coughing when I scoop. I have had zero issues with your regular clumping litter and will be switching back immediately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate it when a cat litter makes a dust cloud and his little doesn't make one, I love that fact and also with having three cats it is nice that I don't get that cat smell. And the clean smell lasts for about two weeks as it says. Also my cats like it and it is light weight. I hate when cat litter is heavy to carry and this one isn't it is around 8 lbs and just makes easy to use. I like the clay base it has and just the preference I have and it fits.

I bought the litter because I wanted something that had less dust. This litter is no less dusty than regular litter. My laundry room still has dust everywhere. The worst part about this litter is that it is so lightweight that it spreads everywhere. It sticks to my cat's paws and she tracks it all over the house! At this point, I'd rather clean up dust in one room than clean up cat litter all over the house.

The product works great, I have no complaints about that and neither do my three cats. My only complaint is the cost, it is almost twice as expensive as the heavy litter. I live in an upstairs apartment and have a very difficult time lugging the heavy stuff upstairs. However, I continue to purchase the heavier litter due to the cost.

I switched to this product as aging and disabilities have made it impossible for me to lift 35 lb containers. This is the worst product I have ever used. There is considerable dust when poured but that could be easily forgiven. What cannot be forgiven is the horrible tracking problem. Litter pellets are all over my house even though I sweep and vacuum daily right after scooping out the boxes. My cat (I only have 1) goes everywhere and so does the litter. I am amazed at how much litter can come out of each tiny paw. Although I have faithfully used Purina cat products for ove 30 years, I am now looking for a change. Any suggestion

I have six rescue cats and go through a lot of litter. When my back went out I couldn't carry heavy boxes any more and had to buy smaller, incredibly expensive boxes. I wanted LightWeight to work so much . . . and it does!! It is easy to carry and easily fills a whole litter box. Emptying is a breeze, not a break! Love this!!!

I was so excited to try a lightweight litter.  I have always used Tidy Cats 24/7 Performance.  I have used the lightweight litter for a month and it is a joke.  It tracks everywhere and is no where near 99.9% Dust Free.  It is by far the dustiest litter I have ever tried.  I am going back to the 24/7 Performance immediately.  I wish I could get my money back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the tidy cats lightweight formula in 24/7 performance. My pros are it is lightweight which is a plus. It is dust free and it clumps really well. My cons are it did not block odor at all. The smell of ammonia was still there even after scooping the litter everyday. I think if it would have blocked the odor it would be a new purchase for me.

My cat locked himself in, and had to go. He then thought "hey that was easy!" and started going in house. So I had to get him and only him a litter box. ( I have 4) the first litter he did not like, So I got this and he now thinks he is special. (shh, he is but do not tell him)
