This cat litter is HORRIBLE!!! I have been purchasing this litter for a good few years but clearly something has changed in the formula. This litter clumps into huge, wet, clay-like clumps and never dries. It leaves the litter pan as well as the litter scoop wet and caked with litter. This is not a one off bad batch...I have had the same experience with the lightweight, multi cat, and instant action formulas in just the past month alone. The worst part is my cat now has litter so caked in one of his paws that it is going to require a trip to the groomer or vet because I cannot get it all off of his paw in between his toes. If I could give this litter negative stars I absolutely would! Save your cat and your money and purchase a different brand!

I gave it 1 star because it clumps, but this litter deserves no star. The perfume scent is too strong. Keeping the litter box clean doesn't stop the perfume scent to increase every day to a point that the whole house stinks, and if a window is open you can smell it even outside! All Tidy Cats "lightweight" products have the same problem. Too bad this lightweight brand isn't available unscented.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how light this litter is, it really saves me. It seemed to work as well, did not notice more odor than before. Only complaint is seems to stick to cats paws more so more litter out of litter box.

I  bought it thinking it would be the same dust-free  formula that Tidycats normally uses. Not the case. Every time I went to scoop, clouds of dust would billow into the air. It also resulted in my kitten having sneeze attacks until I changed the litter. I don't want to breathe that poo-dust either. No thank you. I will say that it covered  the smell pretty well, though, I think I'll be sticking with the heavy litter. I don't need waste particulates floating around my house.

Clumping is great, but since this litter is used in the house dust is my biggest issue. I no longer use Tidy Cat as I have found another brand that is 100% dust free a must for me.☹️

I wanted a lighter weight litter and the Light Weight is really great, but I notice the odor much more than I did with other heavier litter. I also feel that the litter gets on the floor easier. For one thing the cats seem to toss it out of the box since it is so light. I was surprised that other people think that it's great for odor. I doubt that I got a bad container of litter.

I bought this cat litter and right away I noticed it tracks EVERYWHERE! If you live in a smaller space without a basement or a large area you don't mind litter being strewn about, do not buy this product. It does clump and is I would say average with odor control. But I cannot stress enough that it is super messy!

I just purchased this product as a test and I am not impressed at all! Even though it didn't come in scent free form, I thought I'd test it (I live in a 3 floor walk up on the top floor and heaving 30+ boxes of litter is a pain). The perfume factor is way too strong. Cats do not like scented litter (again, I bought it as a test). The dust factor is ridiculous, it's like smoke when pouring it, which translates into breathing and tasting the dust, if you're not wearing a mask. The litter itself seems to clump OK. But once the cat leaves the box it's a trail of tears for me as I am constantly sweeping up the trail of litter left by kitty paws. I have a mat down to catch the litter, but this stuff clings to or in my cat's paws, maybe due to it's lightweight consistency (like styrofoam balls), and I have a trail that's spans the length of my condo.

I bought this at Meijers and was excited to try a lightweight product because I live in a 3rd floor walk-up. OMG, there was white dust everywhere when I poured it and, Sam, my cat, tracked the granules everywhere. There were white footprints all over my house. The odor control was just ok and there was too much fragrance for my taste. I gave it 2 stars because it was lightweight 

I have four cats so I have to buy cat litter often. The regular litter is so heavy and hard for me to carry because I do have to buy the large containers. This Lightweight Tidy Cat Litter is Great and it works as well not better than the regular cat litter. And my Fur Babies seem to be happy with it too. Thank you so much for this lightweight product!
