[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleasantly surprised by the ammonia-blocking ability of Tidy Cats Lightweight 24/7 litter. I have a 3 kitty household that can destroy most litter withi a day or two. Tidy Cats does such a good job that I've found one of my cats sleeping inn the litter box! I'd say that meows volumes about the lack of odor.

I loved this litter from the first time I used it! It does the same great job as traditional Tidy Cats but is so much easier to lift and pour. I'm a senior citizen and have lost a lot of my arm strength and didn't have any problems filling my 2 litter boxes! It was great litter too! The only thing that precludes me from using it all the time is the cost. It's considerably more expensive than the regular litter so I'm not able to use it as my every day litter. But, like I said, the regular Tidy Cats is a great litter, just a bit harder to use.

As always Tidy Cat helps with odor, however they blew their other products away with this one. Not only does this keep the odor away, it also weighs close to nothing. Also something that not all cat lovers know is how harsh litter can be on our fur babies paws (some even have sensitivity on their paws, in general) but it is nicer on there tootsies! I rescued a few kitties and there was one that would not use the litter box, I finally found out it was because it hurt his little paws (with the assistance of a vet of course). He actually uses this litter and no pain!!! He is of course spoiled but finding a little that he would actual use and would not break my back is amazing. THANK YOU TIDY CAT!!!

I bought this product because we had been having issues with odor, dust and the overall satisfaction of other litters. Sadly, this is not any better than the other litters we have tried. It is not even close to 99.9% dust free. If anything, it is more dusty than other litters we have used. My poor cat has been sneezing like crazy ever since we bought this product. It does not help with odors and we are a couple that cleans the litter box every day. I would never recommend this to any one, friend or foe.

I got a sample of this light weight litter and it is really great, I have a back injury and I can lift the big container with 1 hand. It truly is lightweight and it has bigger pieces than most scoopables and my cats like that. It also has a nice scent to it.

Let me start by saying the product itself works fine. However, the "new" packaging is just bad. We've bought this litter before when our local Sam's doesn't have our pets preferred litter in stock. Recently there was a packaging change (Hint - it doesn't look like the picture anymore). No easy carry handle (no center strap, instead a punch out on each side). Harder to open box (excessive tape which requires a box cutter, and you will need scissors for the bag). Plus a bunch of silly sayings on the box in case you are too stupid to know where you should put your fingers the carry the box. Odd, the price didn't go down with the obviously cheaper packaging.

We volunteer with animal rescue and through the years we've accumulated more than our fair share of cats and I am the one who does the litter boxes in our home. We have a setup where we have three areas in our home with boxes. Utility room (2) , my office (1), and a small closet under the stairs (3). What used to be a dusty, choking, stinky chore is no more.   DUST: One of the biggest pluses with this litter is the lack of DUST.  Filling the box in my office left a fine film of dust on everything. Dramatically less. SCOOPING: Second is SCOOPING. Another benefit of this litter is how much easier it is to scoop. With less dust and particulates, the scoop goes through much easier.  Seriously, scooping is easier. CLUMPING: Everything clumps well with this litter. I have no issues with it at all. It's not like some of the more dusty clumping litters where they are like small rocks. This litter clumps more like hard mud. The lack of particulates means the clumps aren't as firm as others, but if you're putting them in a trash back and throwing that away - do you really care?  The scooping is SO much easier I can get more per scoop, and the clumps are lighter, too. WEIGHT: Yes, it's lighter. Much lighter. And not just wen you buy it, but also after you scoop it.  With 7 cats, I have to divide up our litter sometimes because the trash is too heavy. This litter has made a difference in disposal, too. ODOR CONTROL: It says to maintain 3 inches for best results. That's about right. I actually use more. Look, I have 7 friggin cats in my house. If it works for me, it works. I try and maintain close to a 1:1 box to cat ratio. I empty boxes once a week or if they look bad (I check them twice or three times a week). For best results, use a good litter box. Natures Miracle makes one with very slippery sizes so urine doesn't stick to it. Two of my litter boxes are metal - I have the worst sticking issues with them. three are the Natures Miracle high side. One is my "mega" setup - which I replace about one or twice a year - and that's a big storage bin that I cut a hole out of the side to make a giant litter box. This stuff works well. I have one cat who doesn't bury his "stinkies" so there's nothing I can do about that (but this keeps me on my toes about the boxes). When one of cats uses the box in my office, there is an odor for a few minutes until it's all absorbed.  TRACKING: This litter tracks. Because of how it absorbs, it seems to stick to my cats' paws more. So get a good anti-track mat. FWIW - I use really cheesy astro-turf door mats. They work great. I'm telling you - this stuff is great. They sell it in big boxes at Sam's now. I'm hopeful it gets to Amazon and on their subscribe and save.  If you have multiple cats and multiple boxes - GIVE THIS STUFF A TRY. Follow regular litter transition protocol.  Yes, it's more expensive.  Yes, it tracks a little more, but that doesn't take away from it at all. Yes, I am in complete love with this product. It is worth every penny and is one of the few products that I can honestly say has absolutely changed my attitude on cleaning the litter boxes.  I cannot rave enough about how much easier it is to scope this lightweight litter. Most importantly, my cats like it. All of them. Ricky, Yeti, Ness, Abby, Mr. Higgins, Veronica, and Bud. Maybe it's not the litter for everyone - but this is definitely the litter for our family.

We have five cats so the thought of light weight litter was great. We find the scent a bit too strong and the litter tracks more than regular litter. If you only have one cat, tracking may not be a problem, Product works as well as any other litter.

I love that it is so light weight very easy to carry & lift! It clumps easily so its very convenient to scoop. The fact that it clumps easily makes the odor control a lot better! I switched to another new litter just to try it bc it was cool looking granules of clearish white & blue colors & it was a sad disappointment. This litter controls odor way better than the others.

We tried this in multiple scents, and our cats just sling it all over. we have 2 litter boxes and put the standard litter in one and the other had this lightweight style. The regular style was used as expected, but the lightweight was just dug in and tossed all over. I think they were not impressed.
