I have several cats and have battled with changing 2 catboxes daily in order to control the odor. With Tidy Cats Lightweight, I now have one box that I sift twice a day and add a liitle more litter as needed. No more stinky litter box smells! No more hauling heavy, dirty, cat boxes outside to empty and clean! It is truly the best kitty litter I've ever used and it smells wonderful. Thank you Purina!!!

The litter works fine, clumps well, but the oder of the litter itself make the whole house smell and the dust is incredibly awful. Eventually my cats stopped using it and opted for the carpet. I can't blame them. This stuff was making us all cough and there was dust all over everything. I switched to another brand and everything was fine. I think the dust must be very bad for everyone's lungs.

If you pour this out with sunlight shining through your window you will see the dust that comes from this cat litter, I would say 75 to 80 per percent dust free but not 99.9, an I also have pictures of the dust on my glass end tables an coming up from the litter box, also it tracks everywhere, on the plus side it does clump great an controls the smell very good, still way better dust control than any other brand an that's why I would still recommend it, minus one star for dust an one star for tracking, get the dust under control an I would give another star, not to worried about the tracking, also my cat loves this brand

When I saw this litter available at the store, I was thrilled that it was lighter weight than the normal 40 pound box I buy at my wholesale club. However, the lightweight particles get stuck in my cats' paws and they track it as far as 20 yards or more away from the litter box. Cleanup has been a nightmare! Also, the supposedly "low dust" formula actually is much dustier than the original formula.

Not having to lug a 30lb tub of litter is almost as exciting as how well this stuff works!! Even with 2 cats, there is never an odor from the litter box, even if we go a day without cleaning it. This stuff is fantastic, and I will never go back to generic. The convenience and efficiency is well worth the price!!

5 cats in my household, thought I'd give Tidy cats lightweight a try. It is lightweight, perfect for automatic cat boxes, like littermaid and works very well manually scooping. So far it hasn't left any disgusting wet residue at the bottom of the litter box and the light pleasant odor of the litter covers up poo & urine smells effectively.

Just tried this when they discontinued the power blend which I'd been using for years. Clumps well and like how lightweight it is - but the perfume smell is WAY too overpowering! So bad - I'm throwing away the rest of the container and trying something else.

I wanted to try this because the litter that I normally get and LOVE is 30 pounds, and I liked how light this was... First day of using it and I wish I could return it! The litter is everywhere!! EVERYWHERE!! And my can't won't stop digging in it. Idk if she is playing in it or she thinks that her wastes aren't being covered properly because of how light it is. Unsure... But it's annoying hearing her dig forever over and over again. She keeps going back and digging for long periods of times... Hate it!! It's adnormal behavior for her. And it is all over the house. I'd rather carry little that is the weight of a baby elephant than to ever buy this ever again. AWFUL! And I have sooo much left..... I will do as the commercials show.. And toss it out of my life.

I, personally, don't need the litter to be lighter, just go as far as the other containers did. In that respect, it did it's job. I'm just not sure that the cost is really worth it. It's a solid litter, which is great for the older generations of cat moms & dads!

I use the light weight liter and love it I have 2 cats and 1 dog the cats were my sons who is now a Unite states Marine and is swerving in japan he misses his cats but they are older and cant go with him but the tidy cats is all i buy for there liter box
