I had been itching to try this litter....as we all know how fun it is to lug around a 40 lb. container of litter at the store. I absolutely LOVE how lightweight this is, and in my opinion it actually clumps better than traditional tidy cats litter, that I used to use. HOWEVER, I really wish they would produce this in an unscented variety. The scent they added to this litter is really strong and gives me a headache while i'm pouring into litterboxes. Get rid of the scent and I'll be a lifelong consumer!

I have a bad back and Parkinson's Disease. I have 10 indoor rescue cats and just cannot manage the heavy litter any longer. While I truly appreciate the light weight of the litter and how much easier it makes it for me to clean the littler boxes, I really need the price to come down for me to continue to afford the product. I don't want to have to go back to the regular Tidy Cat. I will be forced to if I have to choose between food or litter thought. Please try to give us a better price!?

I purchased a bucket of this product roughly a month ago to replace the tradition clumping litter (also Tidy Cat) thinking it would be nice not to have to dislocate my shoulder every time I went to buy a new bucket or fill the clean litter box. All of these things were true...what I didn't count on was... There is a TON of dust with this product and even with a top entry litter box there is litter EVERY WHERE. It's too light to fall off of my little kitty when he exits the box and it tracks everywhere, I have even noticed him (recently) having several grains left between his toes which he has to remove while grooming. Pretty disappointed as I thought this would be a great replacement to the heavy litter, which we are returning to.

I was so excited when I bought the first jug. I have five cats, so I use alot of litter. I am an avid Tidy Cat fan (regular). But, I am so disappointed with the Light Weight Litter. The odor control is good, but my house is covered in the dust!! It will take forever to clean it all. I am going back to Regular Tidy Cat. Told friends NOT to buy the "Light" litter.And yes, it tracks more too. I think you need to go back to the lab.

I bought the litter because I wanted something that had less dust. This litter is no less dusty than regular litter. My laundry room still has dust everywhere. The worst part about this litter is that it is so lightweight that it spreads everywhere. It sticks to my cat's paws and she tracks it all over the house! At this point, I'd rather clean up dust in one room than clean up cat litter all over the house.

I can't get over how good it holds down the odor. I had to leave town for a week and I was in a hurry so I didn't change litter. Upon my return home from a horrible week and picking up my kittens at the cat sitter I realized I hadn't changed litter but you couldn't believe it because there was no offensive lingering odor. I was very impressed.

We have always been a dedicated customer for Maxx and decided to try this new product. The lightweight is terrific but unfortunately it clings to the cats paws and is spread throughout the whole home. I hope they don't take Maxx off the market and replace it with Tidy Cats.

Although the lighter weight convinced me to try the product, I am NOT happy with its performance and will not buy it again. It tracks through the house more and does not clump quickly enough. Consequently, my cat steps in wet litter just trying to get out of the box. This causes gooey clumps of soiled litter to stick to her feet. Then she shakes her feet to get the goo off and sends bits of urine soaked goo flying everywhere. These stick wherever they land, all over the wall and curtains, and it takes hours of time and effort to clean up the mess! I never had these problems with the traditional Tidy Cats clumping litter. For me, the lighter weight litter makes my life harder, not easier so it is not worth it.

I only bought this because Walmart stopped carrying World's Best Cat Litter, so I decided to try this instead as World's Best is very expensive in pet stores. This Tidy Cats product is TERRIBLE! The very first time my cat used it, he used it to urinate and it pretty much turned to mud. It didn't absorb or clump the urine at all like it should, instead it just got all stuck in his paws and bit on the rest of him as well as he tried to bury it. Afterwards he was tracking it all over the house and trying flick/scrape it off his paws on whatever surfaces he could find. I can't say enough bad things about this product, DO NOT buy it!
