I have 3 cats and two litter boxes which are quite large. Being arthritic, it was hard to lift them to a small low shelf where I scooped them daily. The lightweight litter is a Godsend and my cats don't seem to notice the switch. I use a cat rug in front of the litter boxes so tracking of litter is no problem. Nice apple like scent. Nice clumping action as well. Price is a little high but I can live with it.

I bought this litter because I have a very bad back metal rods in it so the lite weight was a huge selling feature. We recently adopted an orphaned kitten bottle fed him for my special needs son to take his mind of his upcoming heart surgery. Well poor little Buckey keeps getting litter stuck in his paws. He tracks it all over the wood floors leaving tiny paw prints everywhere! What a disaster! We never had this problem with the heavy duty box of Arm and Hammer guess I'm just very disappointed that you would market this knowing that it does this. Now I spent money on the largest bin of Tidy cat Lightweight for multiple cats you can buy and am stuck with it. Also while trying to care for my special need child.

I used this for a few years without trying any other brand because I like the 17lb plastic box for keeping the used litter in until it's full. I have 3 cats and two litter boxes. This puts out so much dust that I finally decided to try a different brand. I got the new lower dust formula of Fresh Step. So much nicer. But if Tidy Cats comes out with a lower dust formula, I'll be back.

Odor control was great, dust probably comparable to other litters I've tried for my two cats. Main problem is that this litter is so light that it gets tracked all over! I can tell if my cats snuck onto the kitchen counter during the night...the specks of litter give it away!! Litter in a trail from the litter box to, well, everywhere! On the furniture. In every room. Reminds me of when I'd bring my 3 kids home from the beach when they were little. I'll be going back to regular litter...the work saved by carrying this lightweight litter is not worth the effort it takes to drag the vacuum cleaner out every day.

I have between 20 and 30 cats.I live on 66 acres and I have been adopted.I have two indoor all the time and the balance live on my covered porch in the winter time and on the premises during the warm season.I have arthritis and the light weight is a joint saver.The product performs exceptionally well on odor control with all these cats in a confined space.

We have 5 cats and tried the lightweight Tidy Cat - BIG MISTAKE.... it is like having a litter box filled with Styrofoam....it was all over my cats and they tracked it all through the house. We put up with it for about a week and then went back to our old Tidy Cat. Terrible - Terrible!

I just started this a couple weeks ago and it is amazing. I have terrible problems with the dust from litters and this one seems practically dust free. I cannot believe how light it is which is a huge plus since many times I needed help getting the litter off the shelf at the store and into my car. It does track but the litter mat does pick most of it up. Also I like that the scent is much lighter and more pleasant then other litters. The biggest plus is Shadow loves it! 

My two cats are super spoiled and only use Tidy Cats Litter. I purchased this about two weeks ago and am very impressed with the way it masks the odors. The lightweight is also awesome due to my inability to carry heavy objects. Thanks alot Tidy Cats for the products.

My household has 6 indoor cats, and we recently adopted a mama and three kittens. That means more boxes than ever! We've been using Multi-Cat for years, so we were really excited for a more lightweight alternative. This one is good - no change in clumping abilities, and only the usual amount of tracking. Slightly more dust than the Multi-Cat. The one awful and obvious downside is that it smells horribly. All of our other litters are unscented, but this one has a very strong perfume. Our older cats will not use it due to the smell. (We've actually nicknamed it the 'French Cathouse' litter.) The new kittens use it, and we can always smell when they do, even in the next room over! We would happily use this litter regularly, if only there were an unscented version.

This product was obviously designed to be easy to carry home with no thought as the end result. The weight makes is equally as easy for the cat to track this stuff all over the house and make a mess everywhere. I have found it in every place the cat goes and sticks to his fur no matter how much he shakes. In addition, urine is absorbed by twice a much litter as previously, making it last half as long and creates clumps twice as large. NO MORE PURCHASES FOR ME!!!! FAILED PRODUCT DESIGN AND TESTING AWARD.
