There are a many cat litters that claim they are dust free and again this litter certainly did not live up to its name for being dust free...I paid extra hoping it was... except for being light weight it is no different than any other litter. The light weight is the only advantage to this litter.

I just cleaned out 2 litter boxes (of 5)  and replaced the old litter with the lightweight.  We have 4 rescue cats, two of whom are tripods and need to be able to support themselves on 3 legs while using the litter box. Not easy with this new litter. I hate it - dust all over the place; does not clump well; the cats kick it out of the boxes so more to clean up;and  it sticks to the scoop.  I was excited to try it as I'm small and have 5 boxes to fill, but now I have to go out and get regular litter to replace what I used PLUS I'm landed with two large unwanted Lightweight Litter.

I got this one to try out mainly for the carrying weight. I take public transportation and litter gets heavy quickly. I knew it would work amazingly ,but it exceeded my expectations. I have four furry babies and they can be picky sometimes on what they will go in.

I've been using Tidy Cat products for 30+ years. This lightweight formula has a horrible fragrance that can be smelled throughout home; poor odor control; product is truly lightweight but that has resulted in the ease of the my cats to track litter all over the house. I will not purchase again.

I bought a small container to try and I loved how it was so lightweight. I next bought a big pail. I have two older cats. I don't know what happened with it, but I don't like the smell of it. It has an overpowering fragrance. I don't know if it was the mix with the cats urine, but I had to get rid of it. We keep the litter box cleaned out regularly. I'm really disappointed because I had to throw away almost a whole pail. Please improve on the fragrance

I have been using LightWeight for 3 weeks and cannot believe this is rated 99.9% dust free. I have a HEPA air filter that goes to full power every time the cats use the liter box. There is a cloud of dust no matter how fast/slow or large/small I scoop. I would not recommend this for inside use if you have any issues with dust or breathing. BUT, from the perspective of ease of scooping and handling, this product is superior. I have rated it 2 stars because I love the weight and ease but cannot live with the dust and tracking issues. Great concept, though. The rooms adjacent to the cats' area need to be dusted daily...so I'm not so sure how sanitary this is, overall. Sorry! I am trying out a mix of this product and the Glade Tidy Cat to see if that works. Still would like to know how they came up with a higher dust free rating than the other products...NOT IN MY HOUSE!

I sought out this website specifically to leave a review: this product is fabulous. No more lugging heavy, awkward boxes of cat litter up and down stairs. Not only is it super-light, it also works incredibly well (I have two cats). No more gross wet mush on the bottom of the box. It clumps perfectly and is neat and clean...it even has a perfect smell, just slightly fragrant but not overwhelming. And compared to other litters, you don't wind up wasting tons of litter, because of the excellent clumping factor. I'm never going back to other litters!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TIDY CATS 24/7 PERFORMANCE LIGHTWEIGHT LITTER is a great cat litter because you can easily lift the jug to refill the litter box. Also the litter clumps nicely and does not smell. I would highly recommend this product!

I love the lighter weight, the better odor control, but honestly didn't anyone consider static cling and the tracking it causes???  I own a Maine Coon and this litter sticks to his paws, his tail, his stomach, and any other part of his fur it can cling.  For the rest of the winter I will be using the old heavy clay litter!

I have three older cats who are not particularly "tidy" in their litter box behavior. The lighter weight litter doesn't seem to stick their feet as much as the regular litter, so they don't track it around as much. It is dustier than I like, however. It gets dustier while it is in the box! Overall, it is an improvement though.
