I bought this for the first time about a month ago! I am truly impressed with it. I live in a small apartment and was worried about it smelling like kitty litter because of brands that I have used in the past. This "Tidy Cats" brand is the best litter I've ever used. There's no smell, it's so easy to change and the best part is it's so easy to carry!

I bought this by mistake but figured I'd give it a try. While I do appreciate the concept, I was actually very disappointed with this product. My main issue is that the tiny pieces get stuck between my cat's toes and she ends up eating them when she grooms herself, or tracking them all over my house and into my bed, GROSS! I haven't noticed this problem with any other Tidy Cats litters so I will not be purchasing the light weight litter again. Also, my cat is a kicker, so this litter ends up on the floor all around her box and I've found that it is very hard to sweep up all the little pieces!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been so bothered in the past with keeping the cat odors at bay and the Tidy Cats -Tidy Cats Lightweight cat litter has made an amazing impact on keeping just that! It has a,fresh scent that doesn't mask the smell yet seems to eliminate the odor all together! I am very pleased with the scooping ease as well!

The litter is light weight but it is not 99.5% dust free. I would say it is 99.5% dustier than other Tidy Cat formulas. I have been using it for 3 months now. In the beginning I didn't notice the dust issue but as I add more to the litter boxes the dust increases.

Very, very dusty.  Makes a "fog" when scooping.  Everything in my laundry room is covered in dust even though I vacuum around the litter box  and mop the floor regularly.  I have to wipe down the counter, cabinets, and washer and dryer. Like that it is lightweight but all the dust is too much.  It is definitely  NOT 99.9 % dust free.

I use more kitty litter than the average home. I have 5 cats, 3 of which are 20 lbs each. Their litter boxes are very large. So, I am very happy with the lightweight formula. With the regular, I felt like I was going to break my back lugging it from the car, then cleaning the boxes was even worse. It would be so heavy and sticky. I don't have that problem with this litter. I only wish it could come in a type of vacuum seal pouch or something other than the plastic containers. I have so many to get rid of. The recycling in this area is not often enough, so the bulky containers tend to add up. But, overall I do like this litter.

Love, love, love!!! Great complete to my litter robot. Easy to dispose of waste and controls oder. I will continue to use this for my Siamese cats. The price point is good. I will definitely continue to use this product. I definitely will recommend it to other fur parents.

I live in the city with no car so the last thing I want to do is cary a 20 lb jug of litter along with other groceries. It also seems easier to scoop since it's so light. I'm really surprised to see so many negative reviews. My cat used it right away and I haven't noticed it being more dusty than the original.

I tried this product a month ago and I am so glad that I did! Not only is it effective but it is, indeed, very light weight. I have a bad back and lifting the heavy litter containers was always a risk for me. With thus new litter, I can lift the container easily without the fear of re-injuring myself.

I like the aspect that this is lightweight but that is it. If the dust could be gone and the tracking factor from litter box to wherever the cats go, i.e. my desk for one, it would be a fantastic product. Good idea, poor outcome. Fix the dust and tracking problem (poor cats have to walk with that between their toes - ouch!), and it would be a great product. I won't be buying it anymore. Back to Fresh Step or Arm & Hammer.
