I love that there is a light weight formula. Tidy Cats is my preferred litter brand and sometimes the heavier tubs of litter are too difficult to lift on my own. It is priced higher but that's understandable as it more convenient to carry and lift. No more hurting my back trying to fill litter boxes!

Any clumping litter we've used previously would get so gummy and stick to their feet, rugs and pan, and this new litter does't gum at all! I AM SO IMPRESSED! My dog uses the cat box too, and it always stuck in the fur in the pads of his feet...what a mess! I see very little tracking of the litter throughout the house. It has a nice aroma before and after use, It weights nothing before and after use. I can't say enough good things about it. I'm sold!!! So far it lasts longer and holds up to the traffic of the many many feet in our house!

I was excited when this came out, as I am old and disabled, and the light weight aspect was very attractive. But, it is so dusty that it gets tracked all over the house. So I am forced to go back to the old type. Very disappointed, and it is certainly NOT dust free by a long shot!

So I purchased the light weight litter to try. Put it in the litter box last night, when I came down this morning my house smelled horrid! We only have 1 cat. Thankfully I still had some of our other Tidy Cats litter. Needless to say this litter is going in the trash. But on the plus side my litter box was lighter feeling when I went to empty it out.

I was using another brand that was suppose to control odors... it doesn't, I have switched to the tidy cat lightweight and odor control is no longer an issue it works really great for my 3 cats, the only drawback is the tracking factor I have to leave sweeper close to box for litter clean up, but the trade off is worth it.

The truth is It's half the weight of traditional scooping litter with all the strength. I have been using the Tidy Cat Light Weight and it is really dusty! Keep your cat healthy and happy with Purina Tidy Cat Pure Nature Cat Litter. This cat litter is made with real ingredients including cedar and pine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the Tidy Cats Lightweight kitty litter! It was easy to carry, and easy to pour because of the container that it came in. I wonder how Tidy Cats makes their Lightweight litter so light weight!

I use this litter going thru 2 a week due to my cat being diabetic. He urinates like lake Erie. This litter keeps odor down but due to the excessive urine it is very hard to scoop. It getss stuck to his feet and is all over, I vacuum daily and scoop at least 3 times a day. I am now trying other litters due to the cost using 2 a week. Will keep you posted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cat litter really is lightweight! It has a softer look to it so I’m sure my cats loved the way it felt on their paws compared to regular cat litter. It did a good job at keeping odors away too. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

The light litter works as advertised but it has one major problem. It is so light weight the cat has a tendency to tip over the litter box making a huge mess. You might want to consider selling litter boxes with a weighted bottom. I don't have time to rig one for myself
