As an expecting mother and cat owner, I have to be careful lifting heavy containers of kitty litter. I used to think the best thing about being a pregnant cat owner was that my husband had to change the kitty litter because of health risks. But now being able to lift the kitty litter is a perk, too! :)

I love the dust-free aspect, not only so I can breathe easier but it has to be better for my cats as well. I'm very happy with this product!!

I really love the weight of this product.  However, the stuff tracks all over the house.  I have two mats in front of the box and still end up with it everywhere.  The scent is a little much as well as the almost double price.  Great idea - just fine toon it.

lightweight is great but way to dusty...made my cat sneeze everytime he got in the litter...way to expensive.......was hoping to use it cause I have to climb up 4 sets of stairs to my apartment.! Wish I could get a rebate for the money I wasted (fixed income leaves no room for waste)

I will start out by saying I have two beautiful kitties, and I scoop their litter daily. Sam's Club was out of my normal brand of cat litter so I tried the Tidy Cats Light weight. I loved the fact that I didn't pull a muscle picking it up. I got home poured out the old litter as I wanted a fresh start to see how the kitties reacted. Their litter boxes are the house type with a staircase to knock the litter off their feet which has worked in the past, but not with the tidy cats light weight. It was everywhere! Normally you would not know I have cats unless you see them, but with the light weight it did NOT control the odor. Every time one went to litter box I would smell it, and have to go scoop it immediately instead of my normal morning scoop. I was very disappointed with the Tidy Cats Light Weight and thankful that Sam's has brought back my old litter.

I've been using the Light Weight Tidy Cats Litter for about 2 months now, as I don't drive, I love the fact I can carry a container or 2 even, home when I stop off at the store after work. It clumps easily and controls the smell nicely. The biggest problem with it though is the dust, my house is getting caked in dust, it did not do this when I first started using it, but now I'm needing to dust every day and its still literally caking my apartment in dust.

I'm so happy I bought this litter! My cat and I both love it. Okay, here's fact of it. If you're like me and you have to go up four flights of stairs to take the litter up and then go down four flights of stairs to take the heavy used litter down, then you're in desperate need of this litter. Before you bash this litter think of all those little old people with wonderful cats that need something they can actually lift! It's a bit lighter so yeah it dusts but if you wanted a dust free litter maybe you should have picked something that says it's dust free hmmm? It's easier for me to change and scoop this litter which makes my cat love it even more because her box is spotless now 99% of the time because I'm not having to lift heavy lumps from my super user. It does the job and hey, I've had dustier litter. This is a god send!

I've been buying Tidy Cats cat litter for years. Its superior performance in clumping and odor control have kept me as a happy customer. I love having no litter odor whatsoever in my home. The only negative...lugging that heavy container around. Problem solved! This new lightweight version is exactly what I've been waiting for!! Who knew?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried a lightweight cat litter before. It was such a nice suprise when I lifted up the bottle. We have 7 cats and I use 4 litter boxes so that I can go a few days between scooping them. I put the lightweight in one box and our regular kind in the other boxes. They used the old kind first, but they did use the lightweight one, too. It was such a shock to scoop it and have it still be very light weight. I loved that. It clumped perfectly. I love how it's dust free. There was no scent, good or bad and I REALLY liked that, too. I hate the perfumey scent that some of them have . It's almost as bad as the cat odors. I would definitely recommend this and use it again!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Purina Tidy Cats 24/7 performance light weight cat litter and put it to the test. It has been in the litter box two weeks and scooping out as needed. There is no dust when going threw the scoop! No horrendous odor when scooping.There has been no hint of ammonia in my house. You cant tell the room the litter box is in. I am so happy!
