I have bought this litter twice now to try, because I had coupons. It does not clump tight or even dry out much. It is sticky damp clumps that stick to the scooper. The 17 pounds is not equal to 35 pounds like it says. I have to buy more often to keep litter level deep enough. Still tracks all over on their paws. I'm not buying this brand of light weight litter again.

The scent and odor control of this litter is horrible. My bathroom, trash can and litter box smelled like an old diaper pail after only a few days. In addition, the litter does not clump well. Instead there are flat "pancakes" of litter that do not stick together well when they are scooped. I had to throw out the litter, my trash can and the box. This was the worst purchase ever. So Gross!

I was skeptical because of the higher price of this litter, but now I am a believer. The litter is great about keeping the stink-factor down. Also it "clumps" very well, and the clumps stay together so changing the litter isn't required as often. I've got two cats and two boxes. It's great. Get 'cha some!

I absolutely LOVE that it's lightweight. However, it does not control odor very well. I also noticed that the smell of the litter seems to linger in the air (clean smell but a smell I don't necessarily care for). I am a HUGE fan of the heavy 24/7 litter and will be returning to it...lugging it in... :0

I really didn't buy into the hype at first. I was working as a cashier and every time that the Light Weight tidy cat came through my line I was shocked at the difference in weigh between it and normal cat litters. I talked to each of the customers about how well it worked despite the weight difference and they were all hooked. Once I finally tried it I realized that the quality was what you expect from tidy cats and the weight made it far more convient that a traditional litter. I won't be switching from this litter any time soon.

I have bought tidy cat litter for 11 years so I thought I would give this new lightweight litter a try. I love it. Even my husband who rarely deals with the litter pan commented how much he liked this litter. We love it for the clumping and lightness and the way it eliminates odors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like this new Light Weight cat litter. It sticks to our cat's paws and it is all over the house because of its light weight. Also this product is very dusty this is why they cannot advertise as 99% dust free, dust is all over the house as well. I agree with one of the customers, this product should be taken off the market. PURINA please bring back the old cat litter which we have loved and used for so many years. You have just lost one of your loyal customers. We have discontinued using it and took 5 remaining packages to local SPCA.

LOVE the lightweight litter. With 4 indoor cats it's a drag moving heavy boxes around (I scoop outside to avoid dust inside). My only complaint-- and it's a pretty significant one-- is the strong perfume odor (and I don't even consider myself to be hyper fragrance-sensitive). I currently mix it with a fragrance-free Petco brand (that is admittedly very heavy.) Would be so happy for a fragrance-free option or, at the very least, something *very* lightly scented. Extra points for a lightweight naturally scented product, e.g., lavender or other herbs. Do this, Tidy Cat, and you're sure to sell more litter!!

I bought this the other day because I love the idea of the light weight. Today I came home from a less than 48 hour trip. I have one cat. Litter everywhere! First, he sinks in about 3 inches when he steps in the box. Second, it sticks to his paws, in-between his toes and it trailed everywhere he walked. I spent an hour cleaning kitty litter off the carpet, the bed, the couch and the kitchen and bathroom floors. I immediately went to the store to switch back to the brand I normally buy. I am not happy. FAIL!

Interesting, how best reviews get listed first by default! Seriously, high reviews have been posted by Tidy or someone who gets paid to do so. This is the worst litter ever, do not buy and waste time on it. My house was full of litter since we tried it, it s too light, so it sticks to cat paws and doesn't clump as we'll nor stay in the box. Doesn't t help with smell, sticks to the scooper. It s just one big gross mess. Invented by balloon artist. Pull it from a shelf!
