While this product is lightweight, it has several downfalls. This litter tracks everywhere! You will have you vacuum out every day. Also, while it may smell okay when you open the box, the smell of litter pee will soon consume your home. This is the worst litter for odor control. And finally, the packaging make it very hard to pour from the box. Buyers beware!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of the biggest problems with litter are that it is so heavy to carry, and it really doesn't control smell. I am really please with the Tidy Cats litter overall, and the Tidy Cats Lightweight makes shopping and getting it in the house and pouring it in so much easier. Lets face it when your cat has a stink bomb...nothing really helps with that, but for urine the Tidy Cat's litter is a big help, because it works!

While I love the reduced weight, I find that it doesn't clump hard like the regular litter. It clumps in huge sticky clumps tha are hard to get off edges of litter box when scooping. I won't buy it again until it clumps as well as the old. Keep working on it!

It might be light weight but it doesn't help with odor, we have to use more of it., and we have to change the letterbox a lot more frequently I will be glad when we have finished with this and can go back to our regular litter. Very poor product and would not recommend it to anyone!

This is the worst cat litter! It's lighter and they claim you use less, but instead of leaving one big clump like it's supposed to, it left the urine "wet" and when I went to scoop it, it crumbled into a million little pieces. I ended up using WAY more than the regular cat litter. I went through it so fast using so much more, it ended up being a complete waste of money!

Good price and works great. We have two cats with one litter box. Its a very large box so every two days we scoop it out and add a bit of new litter. The box and area stay fresh smelling. Clumping action is good so all around, we're pretty happy with the product.

This lightweight litter is amazing. I don't break my back scooping poop any more. It clumps better than the regular multi-cats. It didn't break off in chunks. Mostly 1 piece with a little stuck to the side. NO AMONIA SMELL WHEN SCOOPING!!!! Usually you still have to smell urine when scooping. Not with this. All I could smell was whatever fragrance they used. Give this one a try at least guys! I tried it once and won't buy anything else again.

I've tradittionally used tidy cat and was ecstatic when the glade came out!! I tried the lightweight for the last week and it's getting stuck in my cats paws and I have litter everywhere. I clean it out every other day so that's not the issue. I'll go back to the original versus utilizing the lightweight but any insights I would be listening!!

Urine clumps but stays soaking wet forever, which means it STINKS! Same with solid waste. Just sits under litter and remains wet & smelly. Scooping every single day didn’t fix how terrible the litter smelled after first use. My cats stopped using their box completely and started going on the floor. Had to bleach the boxes and buy different brand of litter for the 1st time in 40 years because I can’t find regular 24/7 clumping anymore (way better)

We bought this litter after being very happy with other Tidy Cat products. While it does control odor (as other Tidy Cat litters do) the way it sticks to our kitty's feet and gets tracked all over the house is gross. I don't think we will even use the rest of it.
