[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would never buy regular cat litter again. I introduced my 85-year-old mom to the lightweight litter with her new kitty and she can't believe the difference. It makes it possible for her to be able to handle it without too much problem.

[Employee of purina] We use tidy cat clumping,we have tryed this new product with our cat's for years. I worked for Purina for years so I know they make good products. So with that said this light weight litter good idea to make it lighter for easy handling. But the fact is it doesnot work well ,have to change out twice as much as the regular tidy cat. My wife has noticed that it leaves a dust when the cat is trying to cover it which travels. Also gets in their paws as they come out, an yes we do have mat's down around box. I like tidy cat has good track record. But I think this product needs to go back to the think box.

The perfume smell is too much! Actually stinks. Cats would not use for almost a day. They all cried,walked around it and walked off. Very unhappy. Been getting Tidy Cat lightweight unscented 21 day from Walmart in the 19 lb. buckets. They like that and I believe it is so much healthier for the kidneys. Almost $4.00 cheaper at Sams though but won't buy it again! First I noticed how they avoided it, then how they excessively cleaned their paws and legs. Ingesting all that fragrance can't be good for them. There is a cleaner smell with the Tidy Cat Lightweight 21 day Unscented than with this scented litter from Sams after almost 2 weeks! In fact after 3.5 weeks, I still couldn't smell any ammonia odor with the Walmart brand. I use 2 litter boxes and clean religiously every 3 weeks now. I almost killed my old Schatzi girl by using Fresh Step scented and mostly just scooping out the waste and seldom actually washing out the box. My vet told me the phosphorus in these scents can cause kidney failure. Three years later, she's totally recovered ! Well, she actually recovered fully about a year after I switched to the unscented and cleaned the litter boxes out every 3 weeks! I can't believe I would risk her getting sick again to save $4.09 every 3 weeks! Bad cat mom! So please Sams! Consider this review and offer the unscented version of this! I now also have 2 almost 1 yr.old kittens who really want to be healthy. The lightweight 3 week Unscented Tidy Cat is the best! It really lasts that long! And once people try it, they will switch and everyone will be healthier for it! As a senior, it is so much easier to haul saving me unnecessary back pains. Otherwise my litter business goes to Walmart. Please stock the Unscented Lightweight 21 day Tidy Cat litter please! It neutralizes odours by using carbon pellets or something! P. S. Also has the least amount of dust I've ever seen! Thank you

While it does an amazing job at controlling odors and amazingly light weight, it is extremely dusty. So much so that after every scooping, I have to wait for all of the dust to settle and clean up. No good for you or your cats to breathe in. Also, it seems to get tracked around the house way much more than any other cat litter we have ever purchased. Will not purchase again and will highly discourage anyone from purchasing. Do not purchase if you value your baby's health.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tidy Cat lightweight multicat litter not only works great but my cats love it! I clean their boxes daily, refreshing it daily with some new litter. Keeping a consistent level of litter makes scooping easier and also maintains a fresher smell. It is so much easier to handle. I am 79 years young and the lightweight is easier to carry into, and out of the house. My back thanks you.

I bought this over the regular clumping litter, and thought the light weight would be a blessing to me. But now that I have used most of the box, I have discovered that the clumps do NOT hold together as well as the old heavy litter. They often break apart when dipping them out, and I end up straining most of the litter box to find these small stray pieces. I re-fill the litter box as needed, about every ten days to two weeks. I dip it out several times a day. The light weight is nice when I am filling it. The loss of clump integrity is a pain several times a day. And - if you cat is a 'thrower' when they dig in the box, you will find the litter strewn more voluminously and further due to it's light weight. All in all, I will not buy it again.

This is the WORST litter I have ever used. I was hoping the lightweight version could make life easier, but it makes everything worse! It tracks everywhere and sticks to my cats feet and gets all over the house and between their toes. I imagine it’s probable terribly unhealthy for them bc they try to clean it off their feet and are probably ingesting it. It also does a terrible job with odor control. It works fine in a litter robot, but it’s just a mess of a product all the way around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i really do like the cheaper bags with less easy packaging that can just get off loaded into the tubs i already have it’s sensible and maybe even less environmentally damaging my cat also seems to like the texture or smell

I've been using this for several weeks and it works wonderful for my 12 cats, and I also foster 4-10 kittens at any given time. The only one I like better is Arm and Hammer Clump & Seal for multiple cats. It takes a lot for me to get heavier boxes into the house so this is wonderful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it but I do feel with all of these cause I just go ahead and very from all the lightweight ones whichever the store has, but I don't know if it's because my cat doesn't cover it well enough, but I never feel the odor control properties working well enough anytime he goes poo poo. I feel like I always smell it, but and he always tracks it a bit kicks it out of the litter box a bit he does have like one of the open on the top just a higher like side litter box, but yeah, I don't know how it like wouldn't track so it's good enough.
