[Employee of purina] We use tidy cat clumping,we have tryed this new product with our cat's for years. I worked for Purina for years so I know they make good products. So with that said this light weight litter good idea to make it lighter for easy handling. But the fact is it doesnot work well ,have to change out twice as much as the regular tidy cat. My wife has noticed that it leaves a dust when the cat is trying to cover it which travels. Also gets in their paws as they come out, an yes we do have mat's down around box. I like tidy cat has good track record. But I think this product needs to go back to the think box.

I have been using this product since Sam's changed the 'Tidy Cats' offerings inside the clubs. I can't believe I used it as long as I did. This product has 3 failings: (1) Odor control is OK but not as good as the regular weight product. (2) The dust is awful. Room is coated is litter dust. (3) This stuff gets track all over the house. I've never had issues this bad before with litter before. It's better to save $ and buy a cheaper (yet heavier) product that is more effective and cleaner.

I bought ONLY THE BEST for my special house guest, and that includes TIDY CATS clumping litter! The “LightWeight” and “Odor Control” are just what I need!

I purchased this TidyCats Light Weight litter as a second choice because the Members Mark litter was no longer available. I did comparative shopping for price and effectiveness and because I had previously used TidyCats litter and liked it, I decided to try the TidyCats LightWeight. Result: my cat likes it! It has lasted a lot longer than I expected! I would definitely purchase again.

This list is good at controlling odors and clumps well, however it will track EVERYWHERE!!! I had to vacuum after every visit to the litter box or have it all over the house. Also, if you have one of the litter boxes that you roll to filter clumps, this litter is too small and clean litter goes through as well as clumps. This brand is not for me!

Someone figured out that not everyone who owns cats lifts weights and made a product that is easy to get off the shelf, into my hatchback and into the house. Plus, my cat loves it and it seems to be easier to keep clean than the other heavier brands.

1st time trying this item from Sam's... We buy the same litter, but in a plastic box from Walmart. Looking forward to switching over more products to Sam's purchases. After reviewing the product description, we were expecting the same type of litter and to do the same job.. it did not. This litter does not clump or bind together, it does not mask the smell except for right out of the box... a it makes me wonder if it's even the same item or of there is just a big difference in the quality between the bagged product at Sam's and the plastic box at Walmart... it was a HUGE difference, a let down of a purchace, and one I will not be making again.

I bought this with it being lightweight and my family has used Tidy Cats for years. I was disappointed when I bought this and find that litter is EVERYWHERE in my house. I have to sweep everyday to get rid of it. The current one I bought is having the urine stick to the sides and bottom of my box. I actually broke one of my shifters trying to clean it off. At first I really liked it, but now I will be going to a different brand so I dont have to strain to pick up the litter and not have it tracked all over my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lightweight litter is the best. As you get older picking up heavier things as hard so I'm glad they made this. It works just like regular litter, but it weighs a lot a lot less. My cats love it and that's the most important thing.
