I started using the light weight litter because regular litter was becoming too heavy for me to lug around. The product works great and my cats don't seem to have an issue with it; however I did not notice traces of the litter getting stuck to my cats paws and they have a hard time cleaning it off and I have concerns that swallowing these residual clumps will effect their health.

True to the advertising, this product is much lighter than regular cat litter, which made it far easier to carry about and pour out. I did not notice any fragrance when I first filled my cat's box with the product, but there was a noticeable and pleasant scent after the box had been used, which was an unexpected bonus. I especially liked that this litter is dust-free! A great product all round.

I bought 2 of the tidy cats lightweight 24/7 and it was horrible! I have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes, I usually buy 2 of the 20lb containers of the clay clumping 24/7 performance and then also the instant action twice a month. I decided since they are heavy I would try the new lightweight in the same way. HORRIBLE mistake. It was a disaster when it came to the performance of the litter, I hate it, plus the dust was unbearable! I had to poor it and run out of the room and stay out for at least 10 min before the litter dust would settle. I will NEVER use the lightweight litter again. I have noticed a change in my normal litter and I'm not very happy with that either. I have been using tidy cats for the last 6 yrs and I don't know what I will do if it keeps changing for the worst, might as well go back to the cheap stuff it it's made about the same.

I have been trying different kitty litter for a few years. I would get recommendations from friends and online reviews. I finally tried the lightweight Tidy Cat and love it. I do not have to strain my back when putting it into and out of my car. I don't have to sit and smell cat litter while i watch TV. I could not be happier!

This tracks all over the house, I went from vacuuming 2 times a week to every day. My cat comes out of the litter box and looks as if she has been flocked with snow like a Christmas tree. The litter is everywhere and it also has dust. Dust not so good with those with asthma. The 17 Lbs of product does not last as long and is expensive. It causes me to do more house work to clean it up, and I would have to buy it twice as often wasting time of cleaning and driving to the store. I would not recommend it unless the company makes a few changes in this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved how light weight this litter was, It performed great, it kept the smell away and my cats didn't make a big mess scattering it all over the floor like they have done with some other litters. I never minded scooping but I will say that if you leave this litter for 3 days without scooping it is unbearable. We were away for the weekend and I just had a sitter to look in and feed the cats, not worry about scooping. We have 2 cats and 2 litter boxes and we left Friday afternoon and both were awful and the smell was nearly unbearable on Monday morning. We always scoop at least a day on a normal basis but any time we go away we have left it for the 2 or 3 days and never had a problem until with this litter. Overall I am very happy with the light weight litter and the ability to conceal smells on a day to day basis.

It is a bonanza for me because of its weight. I have to carry my groceries (including kitty litter) quite a way from the car to the house and then up a flight of stairs to the cat pans. The cats use it, which is a plus for me. My only objection is the fine dust it generates, but the light weight is a strong recommendation.

Terrible allergy to this litter. What's in it? Product was purchased by accident instead of the usual and I've been sneezing like crazy. We usually get the free and clear litter. Wish I knew what was in it so I could also avoid it in other products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate it when a cat litter makes a dust cloud and his little doesn't make one, I love that fact and also with having three cats it is nice that I don't get that cat smell. And the clean smell lasts for about two weeks as it says. Also my cats like it and it is light weight. I hate when cat litter is heavy to carry and this one isn't it is around 8 lbs and just makes easy to use. I like the clay base it has and just the preference I have and it fits.

I've tried many different brands of cat litter to save a buck, and every time I ALWAYS come back to TidyCats and swear I won't ever buy any other kind again. They have the BEST quality litter....very little to no ash/dust and the pellets are actually round balls unlike the cheaper kind that is little tiny dust grains. I never smell the litterbox and my cat never has any issues using it. Thanks Tidycats!
