I love this product! I have had back and hip surgeries and the litter box is upstairs so I have to haul it up there. I tried the lightweight and LOVE it! It's so easy to carry AND it seems to clump better than the rest. Thanks, Tidy Cat, for this product!

I tried this cat litter because I had a $3 off coupon and I'm 100% NOT impressed. It says on the bottle it lasts 2x as long but I don't see how that's possible. It took the same amount as any other litter to fill up the litter box and I'm definitely not going to scoop it less or change it less often so how do they figure it lasts twice as long? It's the same amount of litter but weighs less so I guess they are trying to say because it weighs half as much it will lasts 2x as long as regular litter of the same weight but obviously that doesn't make sense (because it's the same amount just different weight.) It would be good for anyone who has physical limitations or anyone who has to climb stairs to bring their groceries home but if you don't have those issues then it's definitely not worth it. Even if you do the price outweighs any positives I would rather buy smaller lighter bags than spend literally 5X as much than the generic brand, this product was over $10 for 8.5lbs and generic brand is 99 cents for 7 lbs at my local Walmart. I feel that the company is taking advantage of people who could benefit from this product by charging so much more for it. Straight out of the container it has a fresh scent but that's about the only positive thing I have to say about it.

We love using the Lightweight, having 19 cats means a lot of cat litter, the only downside we find is that the lightweight formula is too dusty compared to other lightweight brands, we still use this but only in our bathroom litter boxes, seems the blower keeps the dust to a minimum vs. it being in our other boxes.

I loved the fact that I could easily carry the large containers of litter. However, I soon started noticing litter everywhere, it was even being carried to other rooms and furniture in the house. I also had to buy a mask to wear when cleaning the litter box because he dust was so bad. I'm disappointed, because I really wanted to like this new product. However, I'm back to the regular heavy type.

I have been using the Light Weight Tide Cats for about a month now. I have a couple of complaints. The first one is that it very dusty when pulling or scooping it out of the box. #2, it doesn't keep away the cat smell like the regular Tidy Cat. The weight it nice, but that is all. Need to make some changes. I'm going back to the regular one.

This stuff is such a waste of money!!! I saw all these awesome reviews and thought it must be some kind of miracle litter. Unfortunately, it is utter garbage!! Yes, it is lighter than other litter... But the cat's feces and urine weighs the same!! So the end result really doesn't make any difference!! The scent is odd and it made my cats sneeze and one even had watery eyes. That worried me so did some research and apparently a lot of people have had similar issues. Some even claim their cats have died (although, who knows) but either way, this is not worth it!

Love, love the lighter weight. Negative need to use more and does not clump as perfectly as the orange lid Tidy Cat. Am on a budget At this point cannot quiete recomend. Need to try agai Otherwise recomend Tidy cats in general Nadia and Barnaby the diva cat

Lightweight litter was causing my cat to sneeze and sneeze I went back to the reg clumping litter and his sneezing went away. I have a whole jug and won't be able to use it . Don't have receipt to take it back but I'm afraid to use it because of what it does to my cat the dust is so bad or whatever that have in there is not good for cats.

I have 7 indoor cats and have used Tidy Cats for several years. I was so pleased to see the new lightweight formula...until I got some. The dust is horrible! I have to dust, sweep and vaccum several times a day now. The combination of massive dust and the light weight of the litter makes my cats track it all through the house. As soon as this bucket is gone, I'll go back to the Instand Action or 24/7 formula.

I was skeptical because of the higher price of this litter, but now I am a believer. The litter is great about keeping the stink-factor down. Also it "clumps" very well, and the clumps stay together so changing the litter isn't required as often. I've got two cats and two boxes. It's great. Get 'cha some!
