Urine clumps but stays soaking wet forever, which means it STINKS! Same with solid waste. Just sits under litter and remains wet & smelly. Scooping every single day didn’t fix how terrible the litter smelled after first use. My cats stopped using their box completely and started going on the floor. Had to bleach the boxes and buy different brand of litter for the 1st time in 40 years because I can’t find regular 24/7 clumping anymore (way better)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Figured I'd give this a shot based on the lightweight part of it alone. It's great, for multi cat households. The lightweight aspect is great, not only to transport the litter but when scooping or changing it doesn't weigh your trash bags down a lot causing them to normally tear. The only thing I don't like is it tracks everywhere.

i am so glad i bought this product, as I am elderly and can't lift much. this has made me a much happier person. I don't have to leave things in my car for days till I find someone to lift the litter for me.my cats and I are happier about this, as sometimes it cuts it too close to change their box. thank you for this wonderful convenience.

Works pretty well. I don't think I noticed much of a difference quality wise, if anything maybe slightly better with the traditional litter. Granted it is lighter, but the price difference for the lighter litter doesn't do it for me. While it works well, I would rather save a little extra money and get the heavier litter.

We always used the brand, Tidy Cats, but Tidy Cats Light Weight is ideal as I have a back issue. The lighter litter turns out to be the answer. We have three cats, so that means quite a bit of scooping and changing out litter, lifting and pouring it into the litter boxes. Before Purina Tidy Cats Light Weight Litter, the daily chore of it was exhausting

I love the light weight product. Some good just got a little better. After doing all my shopping and having to haul a heavy container of kitty litter upstairs with all the other groceries. This product is wonderful and now has a bonus of being light weight. Love it.Being a kitty foster parent, this product really helps with multiple cats in the house. Some are very choosy about their litter.

This product has a lot to offer - so easy to carry and scoop.  The waste clumps nicely and the litter doesn't seem to get moist and hard to scoop over time like some of the other brands.  The only negative...and this is a big one for us...is the smell.  The perfume scent is so strong that I find it hard to breathe around it, so I can't imagine what it smells like to the poor cats.  I would love a non-scented version of this product, but with the current scent, I won't be buying more.

My grandma bought this because as she gets older it is hard for her to lift heavy things and she was thrilled that she could get litter that she could actually carry herself. However, it was the worst litter she had used. I walked in her house one day and my instant thought was that she hadn't cleaned out the littee for at least a week because it smelled so bad. There were also white paw prints everywhere because when the cat would get he litter wet, it would turn to white powder and stick to the cats paws. My grandma treats that cat like it is her child. She had cleaned the litter and it still smelled terrible. I don't recommend this product to anyone, unless you are keeping it in your car to use when you get stuck somewhere. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At the moment of my shopping I was only able to get Tidy Cats 24/7 performance. Which in my case was no match for my two cats the 24/7 act did not hold long . I would have to keep adding litter for every visit which financially is doesn't benefit me. I have tried a different version of tidy that worked wonders but have never been able to find it again so I still have hope find the perfect litter. Just the 24/7 brand is just not for me

Love this litter! When I first got my Maine Coon I used some of the other Tidy Cats litters (Powerblend, 24/7 Performance, Instant Action etc), but ultimately wasn't that impressed with them and switched to Fresh Step instead- The Fresh Step clumped a lot stronger, tracked less, and smelled better, in my opinion. However, I always hated that it came in 25 lb boxes that were pretty unwieldly to carry if I had other shopping to do. And with such a big cat, we were buying litter pretty frequently. So, when I saw the Tidy Cats LightWeight commercials, I wanted to give Tidy Cats another chance, and am thrilled that not only is it super light weight as advertised, it clumps great and has very little dust (not sure why other reviewers have said it's dusty). The only little negatives are that it does track a bit more than my old Fresh Step, and it's a little more pricey. But it's great to be able to easily carry and transport two or three of these containers at a time, and I really do think it's the best clumping out of all the Tidy Cats litters. Some of the others were very muddy clumpers, which made the litterbox hard to clean and smelly. This works great, though!
