I tried the lightweight litter about a month ago (I have always used Tidy Cats). We considered it because my husband has had back surgery and other litter was too heavy. This lightweight litter works like a charm and seems to last longer than the regular litter as well. We love it, and yes it does track but every litter tracks....that's just part of having cats ^_^

I bought this litter when it first came out. I like the fact it is light, but the dust is terrible!I am a feline veterinarian and am very fussy about litter. I am going back to the regular Tidy Cat litter. It is heavy but not dusty.The more you scoop the litter the dustier it gets as the litter breaks down into dust. Good idea but Purina has to go back to the drawing board and re vamp this litter.

We are a Tidy Cat household and just recently started using "Tidy Cats LightWeight 24/7 Performance Clumping Cat Litter". I don't know how long this has been on the market, but it's been a game changer! We have 3 cats that have varying degrees of what is acceptable as far as covering up after they've used the litter box, so even though the other Tidy Cat litters are great, there was still a lot of scooping involved. This new (or at least new to our house) type of litter is amazing! Because it actually DOES clump up everything, it's so easy to scoop out and we're able to get by a few more days before needing to completely empty and refresh the litter.

We switched slowly adding it to the old scoop litter a little at a time. After about a week our cat started crying and pacing a lot. I must say here that she is very vocal all the time so extra meowing isn't unusual. The difference was that the meows turned to howling while she paced. We already hated that we had litter every where in the house with this product. Finally, I saw her in action when she needed to go. Jumping in and out of the box just howling, pacing back and forth, until she had to just go. Feel so bad we put her through this. She also developed an eye irritation during this time we now connect to the light weight litter dust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of Tidy Cats but I am really liking this new Tidy Cats Lightweight. I love that it isn't heavy and that it really helps eliminate all smell that usually comes with cat litter.

I really like using this litter because, while I did once use a cheaper litter because I thought I would save some money, when I go to change it out, it's super light no matter how much activity has gone on in there. LOL! To me, it's totally worth it.

I used this for a few years without trying any other brand because I like the 17lb plastic box for keeping the used litter in until it's full. I have 3 cats and two litter boxes. This puts out so much dust that I finally decided to try a different brand. I got the new lower dust formula of Fresh Step. So much nicer. But if Tidy Cats comes out with a lower dust formula, I'll be back.

First of all its the best by far in odor control. You need to really keep at least 3" of litter in the box at all times. I change it less often than others. I've been using a brand that comes in only a 40 lb box. Happy to find this. Secondly its very very dusty, but still worth 5 stars.

I must say I was really impressed with this litter! It was so lightweight which made carrying multiple jugs (I have multiple cats) so much easier! The cost was also comparable to what I already pay so that was a huge plus. The ammonia blocker worked so well too! If you're in the market for cat litter then I highly recommend the Tidy Cats Lightweight litter!

I bought this last week because i had a coupon. I will not be buying this again. The litter clumped and stuck to my cats paws. She not only tracked it everywhere but it hardened to her paws while I was at work and it hurt her when I tried to get it off. When I scoop the litter box there is like a playdoh textured layer under the dry litter. The dust was horrible. I live in a small bedroom that I rent and I couldn't breathe when I went to bed hours after pouring the litter. I would give it zero stars if I could.
