I have been trying many different cat litters trying to find one I like. I decided to try the light weight because I had coupons. This is the only cat litter that really is 99.6% dust free and hardly any perfume yet covers oders. I have 3 cats and use 2 boxes. I scoop it every day. I finally found my litter!

I really didn't buy into the hype at first. I was working as a cashier and every time that the Light Weight tidy cat came through my line I was shocked at the difference in weigh between it and normal cat litters. I talked to each of the customers about how well it worked despite the weight difference and they were all hooked. Once I finally tried it I realized that the quality was what you expect from tidy cats and the weight made it far more convient that a traditional litter. I won't be switching from this litter any time soon.

The fact that it's so light is the main reason I purchased it. Some of the other litters, are way too heavy for me to put in and take out of the cart and then take out of the cart and put in the trunk of my car. The litter works well, too. It keeps the smell down and the cats seem to like it.

I found this Lightweight litter to be unusable because of all the dust my cat raised when digging and covering up. He is a long-haired black, a beautiful guy, but when he came out of the box of Lightweight litter, his feet, legs and underside were gray from the dust!.

Decided to try a container, won't buy another one. A waste of nearly $13. A trail of litter and dust on the floors, curtains, furniture and creatures. The dust and scent incite sneeze-fests in my home. I like the Tidy Cats products as a rule, but not making this mistake again.

We have five cats so the thought of light weight litter was great. We find the scent a bit too strong and the litter tracks more than regular litter. If you only have one cat, tracking may not be a problem, Product works as well as any other litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are using this litter in a box for several cats and I'm thrilled to say their is no smell. From previous used litters once the litter had been used I had to change it immediately to prevent our bathroom from stinking. We are also very happy with the price.

I've been using this for several months now & love it! My cats' litter box is in the basement, down several steep steps and I have some health issues, so the Light Weight of this product is wonderful! I think I smile every time I pick it up to put in my cart at the store. : ) I thought it might not work as well the first time I tried it, but it does and I have two cats using same box! Thanks for making this Light Weight formula!

I saw the ad's and tried the lightweight. I have a Calico and a large Main coon. The problem is the litter is so light that it sticks to the cats paws and gets all over everything in the house. If I want to know where my cats are I just follow their litter trail. I think you have the "right idea but the wrong approach". My electric bill went up because I have to vacuum everyday. I gave it away to my friend and she tossed it because of the above problem.

I do not recommend LightWeight litter. I'm 62 years old with 3 cats. I have tendonitus and back problems so lifting the usual 28 lb. container is difficult. I experienced the following problems with LightWeight: 1. It's so light that the cats scatter litter all over the floor around the litterbox when they dig & cover their excrement, even if you fill the box with much less than the the suggested 3-4 inches. What a mess!!! 2. It doesn't soak up the liquids, leaving the side of the box and the scooper wet. The scooper must now be washed every time I clean the box. 3. The dust is horrible! I haven't had a dust problem since I switched to clumping litter many years ago. I'm using what I purchased by mixing 1 part LightWeight and 2 parts regular litter. I will not purchase this product again. The idea sounds good, but I'm very disappointed.
