I am cat sitting 2 cats at my house & I have a bad back. So carrying litter upstairs is a real problem. I bought this litter so I could lift it. The 2 visiting cats are happy campers and I can carry the container upstairs. And it does it's job. Win/Win. It is a little pricey, though, but my back is worth it.

I'm very disappointed with this cat litter. It is not as absorbent as what I had been using. It's sticking to my cat's fur and their paws and they have tracked it all through the house. I have four Persian cats who have flat faces. This litter was making them sneeze and their eyes water to the point where I had to throw it out and go back to the unscented Tidy Cat litter that I had been using. Also it's much easier to pour litter from a jug than it is to pour it from this plastic bag that has no handle or spout to direct the flow.

Very disappointed. This litter tracks everywhere. I have special mats out front of the litter box to no avail. I find sand throughout the house on a daily basis. I have never had litter track this much. The only plus side is that the litter in the box seems to be fresh, even after several days of use. Other brands, that do not track this poorly, start to get clumpy in small pieces after a few days.

The lack of dust in this litter means that when my cats use their litter box the smell doesn't get wafted all around the house. On top of that this litter doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter box like many others I've tried have. And best of all, I can buy a whole bunch of it for a really good price!

This is definitely lightweight, which is great, but odor control is just ok. However, the litter goes everywhere. I guess because it is lightweight the cats drag it from one end of the house to the other. I found pieces of litter everywhere. The box that it comes in is a nightmare. It’s just a giant bag in the box and it ended at ripping at one and half of the litter spilled everywhere. This was my second box. After that happened, I was just done with it went back to the old litter I used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fact that Tidy Cats Lightweight litter is much easier to purchase and use than other brands because it is not as heavy. It makes it much easier when my wife has to purchase it or help to change out the litter box. The cats don't track this throughout the house and it helps to control the odors much better than our previous brand did.

Love the new LightWeight. I have four cats, and must buy large amounts of litter. Heavy loads are a thing of the past. The odor control seems a little better with this product too. Now, if Tidy could just find a way to make this litter more affordable.

I've always used Tidy Cats for my kitty litter boxes. I was skeptical when the Lightweight litter came out, due to the more expensive price, but it is so worth it! It really is lightweight and even stays lightweight once you clean the litter box. I go through a few buckets every month or so and it really is amazing not to lug the super heavy buckets into the basement and back up again on garbage day. I'll only use this brand and type from now on!

I have been using it for quite awhile. I love it for the loght weight of it. I have always used Tidy Cat but at 90 found the others too heavy to handle without asking for help. I now take care of it myself. I just wish it were a little less dusty I find it to be easier scoopable and lasts longer.

I spent way too much money on multiple large containers of this product and it has been a nightmare. It sticks to my cats fur, does nothing to mask the odor, and is dusty! It tracks all over my house, and is everywhere. I have three cats and three boxes, so huge mistake on my part. It had gotten so bad that the cats were refusing to use it. I had to throw aware an open large container, and empty out the litter boxes I had just filled to replace with new litter. So disappointed in the product and with the waste in money.
