I love that it is lightweight and I can buy a bucket myself. But it is very very dusty. This is a problem for my sinuses. Also, after my cats use the box they smell like litter. The dust gets in their fur and makes them smell like the box. I am going back to the box with the red lid.

I was going to get some of this litter until I saw the reviews. The dust seems like it is a real problem and then the litter between the cat feet. I was excited about this when I saw the ad I thought my cat would love it. But I am a senior and I can't buy something that might not work. My cat would not like the dust or the litter between her toes.The weight would be great a lot easier to carry wish it would work. patty

After losing my cat of 17 yrs I finally welcomed a new baby into our home. I was very excited to try the lightweight litter. It is fantastic for my back and Pugsley doesn't notice a difference from the shelter. I have noticed an increased grittiness and I don't miss a day cleaning out the box to control odor.But it's more than worth it.

I bought this a month ago..it was pricey compared to regular litter Although it kept the smell down fairly well, my cat makes a mess as she leaves the box. Its far too light and she kicks it everywhere. Also it does clump like cement at the bottom of the box.

I have two cats and the smell of ammonia can get overwhelming pretty quick. This new tidy cats light weight has stopped that smell and the clumps are awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this cat litter for several years. All other litter brands pale in comparison. It’s easier to carry this larger size because it’s weight is not so straining on my back. It does just as good as the heavier variety. My cats don’t seem to mind. I think they love this brand better compared to other brands. It lasts longer then other brands as well. I would definitely buy this cat litter. I would definitely recommend it

I tried this product due to the promised lightness of the litter and it would control odor. Well, it was light and easy to carry, but it all stopped there.  It did NOT control the odor at all - the worst ever, my cats weren't crazy about it, and it tracked easily all over the house.  It clumps, but not as good as other products.  Again, the worst part was the lack of odor control.  I am going back to my old brand.

I had bought this a few years ago when my kitties were small (they go outside now) and loved it now I have an older cat I just inherited and had to buy some again as she can't go outside (she is mostly blind) so I will be buying this product once again!

We bought this because we have a litter box upstairs and 1 downstairs. We use this on the one upstairs and can smell the ammonia all the way downstairs, even when it is cleaned out. It takes my breath away between the dust and ammonia. We will go back to the regular Tidy Cats and just lug it upstairs like we used to. Thanks anyway.

Having gone through one 8.5 lb. container I a surprised that the changes made were in the wrong direction. The litter is so light that there is always litter on the floor now. There also is a new problem, there is also litter on the bed spread now. I will go back to the other heavier litter. It also absorbs order odor better.
