I purchased just before Christmas, my cats use it with no problems, and the person whom I had caring for my cats was happy to not have to lift a heavy container. we change litter every week with little scooping in between the week. no problems as far as odors go.

I really liked the 24/7 Performance brand ôf Litter it is great for multiple cats. It's easy to purchase/carry, east to pour and it works great. I recommend this product to anyone who has Cats. It works great and with the container it comes in you don't have to worry about messiness. My sister is using it now too!!

I purchased this litter to see if it would be compatible with my multiple cat household, as litter pan scooping is often a heavy chore. While this is not exactly the best fit for a multiple cat household, it has worked well for our cat who utilized a litter box in his own space.

Can't understand the bad reviews. We have 12 cats and this stuff works wonders. Easier to scoop, no dust, doesn't track everywhere and they don't sling it out of the litter box because it's easier for them to scratch and cover. It seems more expensive but those boxes last and last. A 19 pound box lasts longer than 40 pounds of regular weight litter. I should know considering I clean 8 litter boxes every single day.

I wanted to tell you how terrific Tidy Cats Light Weight cat litter is! I have 3 cat boxes on the 2nd floor of my home in a room that is the furthest from the front door as can be. I have been dragging heavy new litter up the stairs and down the hallway, and heavy used litter back down the hallway and down the stairs for 12 years. I saw new lighter weight litters from both Tidy Cat and Cat's Pride. While the Cat's Pride was 1/2 the price of the Tidy Cat, it was heavier and didn't clump very tight. The Tidy Cat Light Weight litter is a wonderful product! Not only is it much easier to drag upstairs and downstairs, it clumps very tightly! Even after litter has been scooped out for several weeks, the remaining litter still scoops just as tightly as does the new litter. This saves on having to dump the leftover litter out because it lost its clumping ability. I just add new litter to the depth I need, and I'm set for several more weeks of scooping! This is the messiest littler in have ever used! I have closed litter boxes and because of the light weight of it when my cat scratch to cover there mess it flys all over and gets on them. Then when they exit the box it drops off everywhere. But to be fair, it does clump like the heavier litter and does smell better. I will be going back to the old heavy stuff. I would recommend this for open boxes only!

I was so hopeful about this litter because of the "lugging around" issue of regular Tidy Cats. But I bagged it up and threw it away after two weeks. It scatters really bad, and the cats tracked it throughout the house. I also thought it seemed dustier than the regular Tidy Cats, and I don't think the cats liked it as much...I guess they felt like they "sank down" in it too much. So I'm back to Tidy Cats Clumping regular weight, and I really, really hope they don't discontinue it due to this newer litter.

This product is a joke. My sense of smell is very poor but my whole house smells like cat urine from one kitten. I normally use the Tidy Cat 4 in 1 which is an excellent product. This product is expensive & I would love to get a refund but did not keep receipt even if that were an option. I am beyond disappointed.

I been using this product for about 3 months, the label says that's it's 99.9% dust free. My experience with this material is it's very dusty, I don't know where they thought it was 99.9% dust free. It looks like a dust bowl in my after using for three consecutive weeks. Other then the dust it is a good product.

I could no longer lift the economy size of scoopable litter due to back problems. I would have to buy a smaller, more expensive package. This litter allows me to carry the more economical size package of litter. The cats do track a few more particles on the floor as the litter bits are slightly larger than regular scoopable litter. However, all litter tracks out of the litter box some. Therefore, I have to sweep a bit anyway. The cats had a little adjusting as the feel of the litter is a bit different. But, it didn't stop them from using the litter box. The bags of used litter are so much easier to carry to the trash. And, the litter box is so much lighter to lift that I can easily move the litter box to clean it. Love this litter option. The only problems is that stores can't keep it on the shelves.
