[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how light this litter is, it really saves me. It seemed to work as well, did not notice more odor than before. Only complaint is seems to stick to cats paws more so more litter out of litter box.

I recently filled my cat's litter box with the new light weight TidyCats product and was disappointed and annoyed. The lighter weight is the only plus, but I would happily lug a 20 lb. container of the regular Tidy Cat up my three flights of stairs in order to avoid the incredible mess this new product leaves all over my floor. The new product generates more dust, doesn't clump well and the dust combined with the liquid waste causes my cat to leave tracks all over the floor because it is caked onto his paws. I would recommend the regular Tidy Cats, but definitely NOT the light weight product.

I'm on my second jug of litter.  I have four cat plus I have a bad rotator cuff and tennis elbow.  This is a god sent! I love that it so light from carrying into the house to scrapping the litter box.  I also wish it was scent free but oh well.  The other reviews talked about the litter tracking, every litter I have used does this!  Its dusty put being light out weights all the cons!!  Love it!

I am so disappointed in the Light Weight cat litter. It does an excellent job with the exception of the dust it creats. If you can continue with the light weight of the product but reduce the dust I would continue to use this product. I am going back to the heavier litter. The dust and coughing from cleaning is not worth the product.

I have used Tidy Cat for years and always been happy with... The lightweight didn't clump well (but well enough) but the DUST was unbelievable! One day I noticed every surface in the living room was covered in dust... I dusted and vacuumed everything and a few days later noticed the same... THEN while sifting the box I realized where the dust was from! The litter looked as tho it was SMOKING as I sifted it! It is that dusty. I tossed the litter, washed the box and filled it with REGULAR TC.

Ever since the lightweight litter has come out, we have been using it exclusively. The cats haven't had any problems adjusting from the heavier litter to this type and it has the same amount of waste absorption as the regular brand. You have to wonder why a lot of the other brands are also going to the lightweight litter, if it is not what it says it is.

A few months ago I switched to this product. Sometime after that switch our cat developed severe scratching and licking. The excessive licking resulted in bald spots. I've since learned this is called cat mowing. She was seen by the veterinarian in the initial thought was that this was fleas since this is the most common condition for these symptoms. Our cat is 10 years old and has never had this amount of a severe reaction to fleas before and yes she gets them all the time and yes she's always on revolution. A steroid shot stopped her itching and a three-month flea products only seem to work for one month. I now realize that that was the steroid wearing off. She is extremely itchy and cannot sit still in the evening and at bedtime. Scratching and licking is frantic and she will also run around. Then when she cuddles with us at night we started to get itchiness and a rash with hives followed by scabs. When I cuddle with her, I am getting hives round my neck and this has never happened before. So basically everyone in the household, me, my husband, and the cat developed an allergic reaction to the stuff. I will be clear that when I first got this product I would read it five stars. It's very lightweight and it comes wonderfully. No problems with the weight of it causing holes in my plastic bags. If you and your cat do not have an allergic reaction to this it is a good product.

 This product does not clump like regular tidy cat .I am having to dig it out of my box even with four inches of litter.And the fragrance is over powering.Plus the tracking all over the house. I love the regular tidy cat and will be going back to it.Try again Purina great idea just needs some tweaking. 

I have a bad back and Parkinson's Disease. I have 10 indoor rescue cats and just cannot manage the heavy litter any longer. While I truly appreciate the light weight of the litter and how much easier it makes it for me to clean the littler boxes, I really need the price to come down for me to continue to afford the product. I don't want to have to go back to the regular Tidy Cat. I will be forced to if I have to choose between food or litter thought. Please try to give us a better price!?

I thought this was a great litter at first, it was light weight and clumped great! However I am noticing more and more that my cat is tracking litter ALL OVER THE HOUSE!!! I am cleaning up litter not only near the litter box but in my kitchen, living room and just about anywhere my cat can climb which means on my furniture as well.
