Purchased this because we live in a third floor walk up and carrying heavy boxes or bags became a serious chore. It stands up to the name as far as being lightweight, but the odor control is horrible. After our cat used this litter for a day or two the entire apartment smelled. We have since switched back to our old brand. If the odor control is improved I will definitely try this product again.

The only reason I may or may not buy again is the cost is double the price of the regular Tidy Cats litter. Altogether TIdy Cats is the ONLY cat litter that works for my 3 cats!!!!

Recent transition to Light Weight cat litter looked favorable, until evidence began to take its course. The light weight is tracked far more easily through the house, makes marks on wood floors when inadvertently stepped on, and sticks to cats & walls & carpets.... I've found it subtly all over the house. I acknowledge the intent of a lighter litter, but the side effects are causing more work than expected. I am moving back to the original weight Tidy Cat Litter 24/7 for which I had very good experience with.

I bought a large container of this and was so disappointed. It makes a huge mess. It is so light that when the cat comes out of the littler box the stuff comes out too. I did not find it lasted very long. The odor was terrible after only a couple of days with 1 cat. It was tracked all through my house. Sorry about the bad review but I thought you should know.

This is absolutely the worst cat litter i have ever used. I'm handicapped, and was looking forward to a lightweight litter. BUT: It's entirely too dusty, makes ME and the KITTIES sneeze. Because it's so fine textured, it flies out of the covered litterbox at the slightest scratching by a kitty. There is absolutely NO odor control, have to keep dumping deodorizer and baking soda in the boxes, several times per day.

I started using this about a week ago. I love that It's so easy to lift and carry from one box to the other. There is however, one huge drawback. It tracks like crazy, If you don't mind sweeping up litter all day long then this isn't an issue. But, if you don't like the sound of litter crunching under your feet (and, if you have them, grinding into hardwood floors) then this is the litter for you. Personally, I will not be buying it again - I hate having to keep sweeping up (and with 4 indoor cats that's a lot of sweeping).

I love the litter in that it is so light. Makes it easier to carry and change out litter box. My complaint is the odor control. I have tried it for 3 litter box changes and it never makes it past a week and the odor is awful. It does nothing for masking the smell. I have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes and I have gone back to the regular clumping litter. I will trade the lightweight for odor control any day. Really disappointed in the product. It does clump well but that isn't enough for me.

Who ever invented this product must never have emptied a litter box. It clumps nicely, but clings to the side of the box like plaster. I threw an almost half-ful away and voed never to use it again. (I'll keep going to the gym and use the older product.)

I started using the light weight litter because regular litter was becoming too heavy for me to lug around. The product works great and my cats don't seem to have an issue with it; however I did not notice traces of the litter getting stuck to my cats paws and they have a hard time cleaning it off and I have concerns that swallowing these residual clumps will effect their health.

I can't get over how good it holds down the odor. I had to leave town for a week and I was in a hurry so I didn't change litter. Upon my return home from a horrible week and picking up my kittens at the cat sitter I realized I hadn't changed litter but you couldn't believe it because there was no offensive lingering odor. I was very impressed.
