I have used this item 2 times, have found that it does NOT cover the smell of the urine, and there is only one cat. The urine smell is so strong, even in the waste scooped out of the box. I have not had that problem with the regular weight cat litter. I do not like the new stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a sample of Tidy Cats 24/7 Performance Lightweight Litter and it's fabulous!! It's virtually dust free!! I was in awe.! This Litter is so light it's no problem carting it around the store or filling the litter box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tidy cats light weight makes buying and changing litter so much easier. I don't struggle because the pail is too heavy and easily pour into litter pan after cleaning without spilling or wasting from and over pour.

It's so much easier to transport from the store to the house and around the house when home, as well as being lighter to handle when refilling the box as opposed to a pail or box. It clumps well and is a handy product. I might have purchased odor control, but it wasn't available.

I decided to try this product because of the lightweight. It is lightweight. Unfortunately, that's all it has going for it. It tracks throughout house as well as leaving residue from the cat's paws. So I'm constantly sweeping up litter, and spot mopping where ever the cat goes once they leave the litter box. Not effective on odor control as well. My home has never smelled like a litter box, until I started using this litter. Was hoping for much better results.

The scent and odor control of this litter is horrible. My bathroom, trash can and litter box smelled like an old diaper pail after only a few days. In addition, the litter does not clump well. Instead there are flat "pancakes" of litter that do not stick together well when they are scooped. I had to throw out the litter, my trash can and the box. This was the worst purchase ever. So Gross!

I sought out this website specifically to leave a review: this product is fabulous. No more lugging heavy, awkward boxes of cat litter up and down stairs. Not only is it super-light, it also works incredibly well (I have two cats). No more gross wet mush on the bottom of the box. It clumps perfectly and is neat and clean...it even has a perfect smell, just slightly fragrant but not overwhelming. And compared to other litters, you don't wind up wasting tons of litter, because of the excellent clumping factor. I'm never going back to other litters!

I got the free container. I love that it is lightweight. I give 5 stars for that. I'm getting older and have five cats so litter is a regular purchase. The weight makes it easier for me. I have to give 1 star for dust, dusty, DUST! When I poured it into a container, I almost lost sight of it. Every time I cleaned the boxes, dust cloud. I have brought another brand that is light weigh and it doesn't have near the dust problem this had. That is the reason for the 3 stars. Will I buy it? Maybe. It will have to be on sale and I'd have to have a coupon. I'd rather use the Instant Action. Less dust. As for a recommendation, maybe. If the person has breathing problems, no.

It's works pretty good.  Clumps good but I get a pretty old dust cloud and I'm even cleaning my kitties litter box slow to avoid the cloud but no luck.  When my kitties exit their box the litter clings to their paws and they leave a trail of it until its off ( just a few feet away).

I loved the fact that I could easily carry the large containers of litter. However, I soon started noticing litter everywhere, it was even being carried to other rooms and furniture in the house. I also had to buy a mask to wear when cleaning the litter box because he dust was so bad. I'm disappointed, because I really wanted to like this new product. However, I'm back to the regular heavy type.
