[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very light, almost fluffy litter. Very little dust. My male cat used it right away while my female preferred the regular Tidy Cat clumping clay. She appears to have an aversion to the new litter's scent.

Honestly very disappointed in this litter. I have used another litter for years with no issues but recently switched due the tidy cats having a 21 day odor control. Yes the odor control seems to work but this makes a MESS. I have an auto litter box and it sticks to my cats leg like sticks on it where I have to actually wash his leg and even with a litter mat he tacks this EVERYWHERE I’ve never had such a mess. I really wanted to like this but unfortunately cannot use this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Tidy Cats products and after trying Tidy Cats Lightweight, I am convinced this is the best litter that I have tried. It clumps for easy cleaning. It blocks the ammonia smell. Highly recommend.

When I saw this litter available at the store, I was thrilled that it was lighter weight than the normal 40 pound box I buy at my wholesale club. However, the lightweight particles get stuck in my cats' paws and they track it as far as 20 yards or more away from the litter box. Cleanup has been a nightmare! Also, the supposedly "low dust" formula actually is much dustier than the original formula.

We have been using this since our cat adopted us 8 months ago. It's wonderful! I love that I can actually carry the bucket of litter into the house without hurting myself. It does kind of smell like poopy flowers when he goes poop but I scoop right away so it's not a deal breaker. I love that it doesn't track all over my house.

[Employee of purina] I purchased Tidy Cats LightWeight to try instead of the regular Tidy Cats products I get. It worked just as well and was not as heavy to carry around. However, I went through the container faster and had to purchase more litter sooner. Which makes me feel like it is only lighter because there is less product in it.

Preparing for a surgery & recovery period I bought 5 LARGE containers of this product. I used one LARGE container for 3 cat boxes for several cats. Although I clean their boxes & area twice a day the mess is horrible. There is excessive amounts of litter all over the floor space and the dust is EVERYWHERE. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I returned the 4 Large unoopened containers to the store I bought them from. Very, very disappointed. The only good thing was that this litter is lightweight. Too messy for any human house, and my cats aren't in the main house. They are in a cattery and this litter is too messy & dusty to use even in the cattery. My cats DO NOT LIKE THIS LITTER. I brought home and replaced the expensive Tidy Cats litter with the inexpensive heavier clumping litter (different brand) and the cats are a lot happier now.

I bought this just to see what its all about .I really like the lightweight but its so dusty wheather your scooping out the litter or adding fresh there to much dust .I wish it really was 99% dust free as it says. Also the price is to much it should cost the same as the rest.

I am so thrilled that you have finally come up with a lightweight litter. It clumps GREAT--better than the original. It was getting to the point that I almost couldn't lift the original stuff. Just need to work on the odor control a little. It's not bad, it's not just perfect yet.

I have always used other Tidy Cats litter and have been pleased. However, I am disappointed to find that the light weight litter was not 99.9% dust free as they claim on the back of the bottle. You can actually see the cloud of dust when scooping the box. My cat has a chronic upper respiratory condition and I rely on Tidy Cats to live up to their claim. I will not buy this product again, but will remain a Tidy Cats customer.
