My two cats are super spoiled and only use Tidy Cats Litter. I purchased this about two weeks ago and am very impressed with the way it masks the odors. The lightweight is also awesome due to my inability to carry heavy objects. Thanks alot Tidy Cats for the products.

I started out switching one of the litter boxes to this litter. The cats would use it at the beginning, but after a couple days, they stopped using it. I'm not 100% sure why the cats stopped using it, but I think it's because the litter is too light that when they dig, it brings up a lot powdered dust (I realized that when I was scooping). Also, the fragrance is waaaay too strong. The cats would not use the litter box even if I mixed half and half (lightweight vs regular tidy cat), so the whole tub went to the trash.. not worth trying... (they're not cheap to try!)

I was going to get some of this litter until I saw the reviews. The dust seems like it is a real problem and then the litter between the cat feet. I was excited about this when I saw the ad I thought my cat would love it. But I am a senior and I can't buy something that might not work. My cat would not like the dust or the litter between her toes.The weight would be great a lot easier to carry wish it would work. patty

When I started using Tidy Cats Lightweight, it claimed 99.9% dust free, and it did seem to be. Now, they no longer make any claims other than "low dust" and I can see the litter dust building up everywhere and getting tracked around. Looking for an alternative litter again.

With my 4 cats hauling litter is the name of the game! I really appreciate the light weight litter.. It works well, the dual control regular clumping litter is my favorite though.. It's worth the subtle differences to have the ease of the light weight!

I was so glad to see a new version of the heavy cat litter.  Since I do all the shopping, it was always a struggle when it came to buying cat litter so I thought I'd try the new, lightweight litter. The problem is that it is soooo light that it sticks to everything and now with the colder months being here and the static in the air, it is 'litterally' EVERYWHERE! And I mean EVERYWHERE!   It sticks to the cats after they use the litter box and they track it ALL OVER THE HOUSE!  You now know if your kitty is getting on the counters at night when you are sleeping because where your cat has been, there is the litter.  It actually 'jumps' on my legs when I walk by the litter box because of the static cling. It is also very dusty. The negative aspects of this litter, far 'out-weighs' the positive.  Looks like the struggle will have to continue next time I buy kitty litter.

I was delighted to learn about the lightweight litter, asked my grocery store to carry it. The lightweight part is great. However, it's so lightweight that the cats track it everywhere (incl. furniture) and I'm constantly vacuuming it up. So, sadly, back to the heavier weight stuff.

I started using this in late fall of 2013 and really loved it, didn't think it could do the job of the heavier litters, but I was wrong, it does and I absolutely loved it, except for one thing.  It is really, really dusty.  I am going to have to stop using it because of it and hope that maybe you can do something to correct this and make it less dust free.  I am 70 y/o and was so happy to find this product because of the weight of all the other litter.  I also have 7  cats and use a lot of it, so I really need a litter that is more dust free.   So I hate it that I am going to have to go back to the heavier products.  I will still use Tidy Cat, but just won't be the LightWeight.  

Its terrible! I originally purchased for my Litter-Robot in hopes that I can go a full week without changing the drawer. My cats track this stuff everywhere, its stuck all over the wall from them covering their buisness. We just now had to bath my cat because it was stuck all over her back paws like freaking plaster! I will never purchase the light version again.
