I purchased this litter about a month ago and replaced one of my 2 litter boxes with this lightweight litter. My cats have no qualms about it. I originally bought it purely based on the lighter weight but I've found that the best feature of this litter is the ease of cleaning the box. I'm sure anyone with a cat knows how they love to urinate at the very bottom or the edge of the litter box and trying to scoop out these clumps can be disastrous at times. The clumps always break apart and then leave smaller pieces that fall through the scoop and remain in the box. I've had much greater success with the lightweight litter as it tends to remain intact when scooping, making daily clean up much easier and will likely lessen the need to have to dump all the litter and scrub the litter boxes to replace with all new litter. I haven't noticed the cats tracking any more litter than usual around the house either. My only complaint is the price but I'm hoping this will drop once it becomes the new standard for litter.

Tried this with a 2 year old cat who never had trouble using her box. After switching to lightweight formula she began using the carpet as a place for elimination. She would not step into her box until we switched back to regular litter. Wish I could have my clean carpet back!

I bought this when I hurt my arm to make it easier and now always use it. So much easier to carry into house and to pour into the cat box. I'm not saying that the other heavy stuff is so heavy you can not use it but this is so easy that you should not ever need to do the heavy kind again. Works perfectly.

I have to be honest that I sure was amazed how great this litter actually is, no dust and very effective clumping ease! I definitely will purchase!

We have been a Tidy Cat litter user for many years. When Purina developed a light weight litter we thought it was wonderful. We are very disappointed in this product. I normally don't write reviews but thought it was necessary. It is "light" and it does absorb well...but...it also sticks to the cats paws and they track it all over the house. It is almost like styrofoam tiny balls with static in them. I have catch mats down in front of the boxes and to no avail ....they still carry it everywhere. Ok...have got it off my mind. Going to totally switch to another product.

The good -- it's lightweight and it clumps. That's it folks. Messiest litter I've ever bought. Because it's so lightweight it tracks everywhere. And the dust! I had little white paw prints all over the house. You could use it as a tracking device to see where kitty has been. Back to the regulars Glade scented. That's about as dust free as you get.

The packaging and lightweight formula makes it easy to lift, pour, and use. I would recommend it.

I started out using the cheap litter from the dollar store and quickly found out that it wasn't going to work. I then started using tidy cats! it is the best litter I have ever found. It works great with clumping so there is no mess left behind. I highly recommend you giving it a try!

I hesitated to try the lightweight litter because of the higher price, but now that I have used it I would not go back to the other kind - it is well worth the price! I have back issues and the regular litter was getting too heavy to lift and so was the garbage can that I was using to put the dirty clumps in. Tidy Cats lightweight has made such a difference! And my cat seems to like it, too.
