I bought this a few weeks ago for my cat, and oh what a mess it makes. The dust sticks to his feet and I have kitty paw prints all over my floor, and when he voids it sprays urine and litter everywhere including the wall his box is against. Because its light weight, it end up everywhere in my house, and is just a super mess to clean up. The only thing I liked about tidy cats lightweight litter, is it is really good about odor control. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you want to spend your days cleaning litter off walls and floors.

I bought this product several weeks ago and love that it weighs so much less but works just as well as normal Tidy Cats litter. I live in Chicago without a vehicle and when I shop, I usually just buy what I can carry home. Buying cat litter is always cumbersome but now it's not!

I bought the big size to change out my box and try this light weight kind, the smell is ok it was a little dusty as it was all over my glasses when I poured it in the box, was hoping for a new litter that wasn't tracked all over the house, I have to sweep 2/3 times a day, I'm ready to chalk this up to $ loss and go back to the old littler I was using. 

I usually use Tidy cat Clumping liter for my 2 cats. My wife doesn't like changing the liter because she says the container is too heavy for her. We tried the lighter weight container and found that the liter worked just as good as the heavy container. It really is a back saver

I only buy tidy cats because we love how tight it clumps but I hate this stuff. The only thing good about this product is that it is light. It doesn't clump at all. I will be going back to the heavier type. I hope that this product can be made better and still be light.

I used to really like this product. Now its "improved" and uses a plastic bag in there. At least with the old design I was able to just pour it into the litter boxes. Now I have to use a scoop because it's so awkward to pour it in now. Whoever designed the new packaging managed to make it worse. Also, now with the new top, I'll need to have something on top because I don't want my cats to get into the box. At least with the old packaging that wasn't an issue.

Tidy Cat had sent me a sample bottle of this litter (regular size) and I thought my only complaint was how the cats paws sank down to the bottom of the pan with this stuff. A month or so down the line we decided to try another bottle of it. I can smell it's fragrance all throughout the house and I'm hating it. I think I'm going to put some vinegar in a spray bottle and see if I can neutralize the scent a little. I prefer this litter with the Litter Genie because the regular stuff is so dense and heavy, but I just can't tolerate the smell. • They say the 8.5lb = a regular 20lb but they charge far more for the lightweight. • I didn't find the dust to be a problem. • It seems to last a good while. I want $15 to last closer to a month, not just two weeks (8.5lb) • I guess I'll be sticking with Tidy Cat Scoop (blue label) (20lb 2/$16 Petco) even though it weighs a ton

This is the worst cat litter! It's lighter and they claim you use less, but instead of leaving one big clump like it's supposed to, it left the urine "wet" and when I went to scoop it, it crumbled into a million little pieces. I ended up using WAY more than the regular cat litter. I went through it so fast using so much more, it ended up being a complete waste of money!

I received the Purina Tidy Cats Lightweight litter as a sample for free, and I love it!! Before I was using Tidy cats instant action scoopable litter for multiple cats. Now I thought this litter was good, but I noticed my cats ears were dirty alot.. With this litter I have not had that issue!!. Also I could tell with the other litter that it needed to be changed and it stunk and was heavy to take out or pick up and I have a bad back so I either had to get someone to help me get it or wait till my husband could go with me because we usually would get a 35lb bucket. But this litter is so light weight, I just love it and well first my cat was like what is this, but she doesnt mind it either.. :) An that is who matters most here right ;) she's the queen!! SO last night I go in and the litter needed to be scooped out but not because I could smell it because I could see it! An I also liked that after I got done scooping that it looked like it had just been cleaned!! No fecal particles left after.. Yay!!! Oh and I also love that it is 99.9 % dust free!!!  So overall yes I will buy it!! An yes def switching to this!!! Thank you Tidy Cats!!
