WE have 3 spoiled indoor cats. I love the light weight, it is much easier to scoop and has a pleasant smell. I really like the 17 pound bucket. With 3 cats and 2 litter boxes it is even easier to scoop. I'm very Pleased and if the cost would be a little less, that would be good!

I have been using the small spaces litter for my (one) cat, and decided to try this since it's lighter (I live in a high rise). I was very disappointed though and had to leave this review. This is the most dusty litter I have ever come across! I have mild asthma and could not breathe just scooping the box - never mind refilling it!! Plus another huge negative - it gets tracked SO much more than the regular one! It also sticks to my cat's fur and paws when completely dry for further tracking. I have to sweep/vacuum multiple times a day instead of once. Clumping for urine works much better (doesn't stick to box as much - huge plus) but it's probably from the film of dust! And I don't know what people are referring to about good odor control - clean box smells after one use. I do not recommend.

The only good thing about this is the light weight. It doesn't absorb, it tracks all over the house and sticks to my two cats. It's difficult to clean out...nothing is good about this litter. In fact, my one cat hated it so bad, she started peeing on the carpet. Please re-think this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been given the opportunity to try Tidy Cats Lightweight Formula through PINCHme, a company that sends out free samples to consumers to try. After allowing my cat to use the litter box containing this product, I have to say it does its job as advertised. It blocks any possible odors, eliminating any bad scents from the air. The packaging and lightweight formula makes it easy to lift, pour, and use. I would recommend it.

Everything about it is great except this: it is BY FAR the messiest kitty litter we've ever used. The "lightweight" aspect makes it such that big piles of it are constantly forming in front of the box, and it just spreads from there. It sticks to the cat so much that we're finding it on our couch, end tables, and everywhere else the cat travels. We didn't even finish a whole box of it before buying our old brand and discontinuing using this product.

This product is terrible! I'm not usually someone who reviews products, but this was such a waste of money that I had to. This litter not only has no oder control, but since it's so lightweight, the cats track it everywhere! Takes me twice as long to clean my floors! I'm definitely going back to the heavy litter! Good idea, terrible product. Nice try!

While I like the lighter weight of this product, it has made a gradual mess of my house over the last two weeks. Unlike regular Tidy Cat scoopable litter, this sticks to my cats' paws and fur and it has left a trail down the stairs and everywhere they walk/sit. Also, it does not wick moisture away as fast so they have gray muddy residue on their paws that leaves pawprints everywhere. Returning what I have left and going back; heavy or not.

If I could give 0 stars I would. As other people have pointed out, this litter turns to sludge. I have never seen this litter clump in a way that didn’t require me to change the box every time I scoop, it is always messy and gross and you have to literally scrape it off the bottom of the box whenever your cat pees (and it never comes off in one clump, you better be ready for the slime pile it creates). The only benefit of it is that it’s lightweight but that is completely negated by the fact that you’d have to buy an ungodly amount of this stuff to keep up with how many times you’ll have to completely dump your litter boxes. It’s almost not even scoopable, I can’t believe this is an actual product they are selling to people. Odor control is fine but I don’t think scented litter is good for anyone, I try to avoid it as much as possible. This purchase was a last minute thing for me and I will be choosing any other litter I can find before I pick this one up ever again.

I do appreciate the lightweight factor now that I am 65 and have degeneration of the spine and severe carpal tunnel in both hands. Not sure about the 99.9% dust free yet, time will tell. Before dust was being taken from the furnace room and being blown through vents to all the rooms upstairs. Dust everywhere was horrible! After so many years of breathing kitty litter dust, it's time for my lungs to take a break especially with three larger than average cats that can go through a lot of litter in one day.

Great concept... but I would not recommend this product unless you don't mind picking up pieces of cat litter that get tracked throughout your house! They heavier weight stuff tracks very little, mostly just outside the litter box, but this stuff got stuck in our cat's paws and tracked up 2 flights of stairs, into the kitchen, everywhere we were finding the cat litter! Plus the litter box slides around too easily where the heavier weight nicely held the box in place on the floor. I would not buy this again.
