I generally buy the full-weight TidyCats litter for multiple cats, but though I would give my arms and shoulders a break from hauling the jugs up and downstairs. It really is a light-weight cat litter, but unfortunately it doesn't mask the urine smell properly. So, back to the drawing board for me.

I previously bought the "Maxx Scoop" type of litter, which was amazing. Purina discontinued that and forced me to buy "Tidy Cats" litter. Pun intended... what a LOUSY product!!! It's supposed to CLUMP, not collapse into a pile of dark urine-saturated SAND!! I gave this product some time, hoping that I either had a bad batch, or that Purina were going through product realignment or something. No more chances. I've owned cats all my life, and never have I seen such an ineffective litter... never again will I purchase this product. See photo for more info.

I had major surgery on my rotator cuffs and have a permanent back injury so having the option of a lightweight litter has made a huge difference to me. I foster cats so have to use lots of litter in my household. I appreciate having LightWeight Tidy Cat--especially since I have always used Tidy Cat and like the brand.

True to the advertising, this product is much lighter than regular cat litter, which made it far easier to carry about and pour out. I did not notice any fragrance when I first filled my cat's box with the product, but there was a noticeable and pleasant scent after the box had been used, which was an unexpected bonus. I especially liked that this litter is dust-free! A great product all round.

I tried a box of this litter. I like the fact that it's much lighter then other litters. And that the only good thing about this litter. When you pour it, there's clouds of dust flying. And when you clean it, there's more (contaminated) dust flying. And because it's lighter in weight, when the cats scratch it, the litter goes flying around much more. And it sticks to the cats' fur and paws a lot more. So now I'm finding contaminated litter all over the house. I think that's this is a good idea that just doesn't work. Plus it's about $5 more then other litters. I'll never buy this product again.

I absolutely love everything about this lightweight litter except that I am very sensitive to chemical smells and the odor is so strong that when I am in my living room upstairs I can smell the strong odor of the litter in the basement. I would think this is even worse for a cat who can smell much better than a human! Not sure if I picked up the wrong container. Maybe there is one that is unscented that would be really nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Tidy Cats Lightweight 24/7 Performance litter. I LOVE how light the container is. Its easy to pour into the litter box, easy to put in shopping cart, just light! Its the same great performance as regular Tidy Cat litter.

This product made much more work for me! It's great to pick up a lighter box of cat litter. It is NOT great that the light weight means the litter tracks out of the box on the cat's feet! I am sweeping my floors multiple times a day because the lighter weight litter sticks to my cat's feet and tracks everywhere! It is a mess and I'll never buy this product again.

It is lightweight, and I love that. Scooping is easier, the bags are lighter to take out. BUT it is not dust-free at all, much less 99.99% When I pour it in, a huge dust cloud erupts and makes me cough. The worst part of it, and the main reason that I shall not purchase it again, is that it tracks so horribly. It is seriously ALL OVER my house. Up the stairs, in my bed, in every single room. It is truly awful. I wish I had saved my receipt to get my money back, but I trusted TidyCats to not disappoint me. Unfortunately that was not the case.
