[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Purina Tidy Cats LightWeight, Low Dust, Clumping Cat Litter Odor Control 24/7 Performance Multi Cat Litter, hoping it would make litter maintenance easier. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.Despite claims of being low dust, I found this litter to be quite dusty. Each time I poured or scooped, a noticeable cloud of dust emerged, settling on nearby surfaces and making cleaning more burdensome. The lightweight nature of this litter led to significant tracking. I discovered particles far beyond the litter box area, requiring frequent sweeping and vacuuming. This was particularly frustrating, as it negated the convenience I was seeking. I noticed that unpleasant smells lingered despite regular scooping. The litter's scent itself was also quite strong and not particularly pleasant. The clumping performance was inconsistent. Some clumps formed adequately, while others disintegrated upon scooping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of Tidy Cats cat litter but what I really hate is lugging huge bags of cat litter home. With the 24/7 Performance Lightweight Litter I no longer have to get my husband to carry big heavy bags and I can lift the container of litter no problem. I love it.

I really was hoping to make this my new choice in cat litter. I love the lightweight formula and it clumps very well. Unfortunately the heavy fragrance makes me nauseated. It also clings to my cats so when they come around for cuddles I cannot indulge them. PLEASE make this in an non-scented version and I'll purchase it exclusively.

Light weight is good, but it does not absorb odor as good as the regular litter. I have a strong male tabby that gets enjoyment knocking things over and I have awakened twice now to finding the litter box empty except for the clumped items. Also, too expensive, light should not mean more $$.

I was so excited when I bought the first jug. I have five cats, so I use alot of litter. I am an avid Tidy Cat fan (regular). But, I am so disappointed with the Light Weight Litter. The odor control is good, but my house is covered in the dust!! It will take forever to clean it all. I am going back to Regular Tidy Cat. Told friends NOT to buy the "Light" litter.And yes, it tracks more too. I think you need to go back to the lab.

I loved this litter from the first time I used it! It does the same great job as traditional Tidy Cats but is so much easier to lift and pour. I'm a senior citizen and have lost a lot of my arm strength and didn't have any problems filling my 2 litter boxes! It was great litter too! The only thing that precludes me from using it all the time is the cost. It's considerably more expensive than the regular litter so I'm not able to use it as my every day litter. But, like I said, the regular Tidy Cats is a great litter, just a bit harder to use.

It’s easier to carry this larger size because it’s weight is not so straining on my back. It does just as good as the heavier variety. My cats don’t seem to mind. I think they love this brand better compared to other brands. It lasts longer then other brands as well. I would definitely buy this cat litter. I would definitely recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works as great as all the rest of the Tidy Cat lines. I love that it is dust free and has no overpowering flowery smell. Clumps great and my cat seems to like it as much as I do. It has great clumping power to make scooping and cleaning a breeze!

Thanks for sending me the sample--we have four cats and so multiple litter boxes. One of our cats has enormous smelly catflops from his meds and this is the only litter that controls the odor. Also LOVE the jug design and the weight. I am handicapped with fibromyalgia, severe arthritis and spinal stenosis so really like the fact it is lighter in weight but does the same fantastic job your litters always do! Thanks again, it's a regular item on our shopping list!

I like the idea of lighter weight litter.  I foster for a rescue group and always have 4 or 5 litter boxes set-up at the same time.  Lugging 30 or 40lbs of litter at a time is a work out but paying almost twice as much for the same volume of litter is definitely cost prohibitive.
