I got this litter as it is lightweight and I had an operation not so long ago. But the product tracks down too much, and much to my surprise my cat somehow tipped over the entire litter box; so everything spilled on the floor. No more lightweight for me, sorry.

I was excited to find this product. Being middle aged, I have to make my daughter haul the cat litter for fear I will throw out my back. So I bought this as soon as I found it. However it is CRAZY dusty. AWFUL, HORRIBLY dusty, the worst I've ever seen in a litter. I have to hold my breath when pouring it, and when scooping the box. CLOUDS of dust rise up and fill my small laundry room. This can NOT be good for my cats, and for that reason I will NOT buy it again. I just finished scooping and I can still feel the dust in my nose. I'm sad. If it wasn't for the excessive dust, it would be my new litter.

I love the Tidy Cats brands and have used them for years. I thought what an amazing idea....lightweight cat litter - can't wait to try it. So I went out and bought it immediately. Was very, very disappointed in this product. It clumps great but the issues I have with this particular item is that my cat tracks this all over the house and the dust from cleaning it out is so strong my throat cannot take it. I am constantly cleaning litter up all over the house even in our beds when the cat would come to visit and never had that issue before plus the strong dust from it mad me sick. I thought it was just me noticing the dust so I had my older daughter clean it out and she had the same issue constantly coughing when cleaning the cat litter out. I could not stand it anymore and decided to go back to my old Tidy Cat formula. The older formula may be heavier but at least there is less mess around the house to clean up and I am not constantly coughing while cleaning the cat box out. I was seriously bummed about this product but I appreciate them for trying. Still love the Tidy Cat brand and will always be a faithful consumer.

The lightweight feature is absolutely great and the wet litter doesn't stick to the sides of the box but it doesn't compare to the other tidy cats I've purchased in the past. The odor control is horrible and it definitely tracks much more. Fix these problems and we'll definitely change back, until that time we'll be changing back to our own litter in less than a weeks time. :(

I loved that is light weight. It has a great fragrance. My cat litter box didn't smell like ammonia. Will definitely be purchasing this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Figured I'd give this a shot based on the lightweight part of it alone. It's great, for multi cat households. The lightweight aspect is great, not only to transport the litter but when scooping or changing it doesn't weigh your trash bags down a lot causing them to normally tear. The only thing I don't like is it tracks everywhere.

I have been using the new lightweight Tidy Cats ever since it first came out. We have two cats and two litter boxes, so we go thru quite a bit of it. I really like the wide mouth plastic bucket that the larger size comes in. I can use it for other things when it is empty.

5 cats in my household, thought I'd give Tidy cats lightweight a try. It is lightweight, perfect for automatic cat boxes, like littermaid and works very well manually scooping. So far it hasn't left any disgusting wet residue at the bottom of the litter box and the light pleasant odor of the litter covers up poo & urine smells effectively.

I love that it is so light weight and easy to transport. I only wish it didn't carry such a hefty price tag to it. It is a terrific and effective liter.
