I had very high hopes for this litter. The thought of not having to lug heavy containers around was enticing. So I bought one box. The good: 1. It is very light and easy to carry - excellent 2. The volume is the same as regular litter - very good 3. The cats love it. I have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes. Tried this in first 1 then 2 boxes to see how the cats reacted. They prefer this lightweight litter, a lot. All three prefer it over standard litter by a long shot - very good 4. No odors and very good clumping - thought we had a winner But the bad rules the day: 1. The amount of dust is incredible. Far more than any other litter I have used. I have considered wearing a dust mask. Everything near the litter boxes is covered in dust - this is horrible! 2. And the price, nearly double regular litter, is just not justified, particularly with the dust problem. So I could not recommend this to anyone and do not plan to buy again. If they got the price down (I thought it might be less expensive since the shipping costs should be so much lower) and solved the dust problem this would be a phenomenal product. Unfortunately it is not. Sorry

I'm going to be honest Tidy Cats has never been my favorite. It's not the worst but rather the most affective for the most reasonable price. this particular litter is no different. The light weight's only significance is making it slightly easier to move around.

I just bought this litter last week and I will never buy another litter again!! Love how it is so light weight...it clumps and don't break apart like my other litters have, no DUST which I absolutely love!! I can just scoop with ease with no oder burning my nose, or dust flying everywhere!! I love that I can carry it from my car to the house without breaking my back. It is more money for less litter but it is so worth it!! So much, that I actually like to clean the litter boxes now because it's not a chore or hassle anymore! Thanks Tidy Cats!!

I've used Tidy Cat for over 20 years with my cats. I wouldn't say it's the greatest but it works and inhibits odors. I prefer the scent of Fresh Step but have to buy what I can afford so I alternate between the two when they are on sale. I'm not in agreement that it's dust free. There is dust but not as much as other brands.

It is always a struggle to find litter that keeps smell down, clumps, and is not super heavy- but this one does all three! I have several boxes so the lighter weight is a big deal for me but up until now I have not been able to find a light litter that works as well on keeping smell down. I got the chance to try this litter with a sample from PinchMe and I have already bought more! My new go-to litter for our household!!

I love the lightness of the litter and my cat seems to as well as she covers up her mess 100% better. However the dust that she kicks up has increased 100% My floors, window sills, table, dresser,etc are covered with dust. I live in a studio in NYC and its difficult to breath after she uses her box, not because of the smell but due to the dust. I am so congested and now from all the dust and my cat sneezes more than usual.  I also notice my cats smells like the litter which means the dust is getting on her coat and the perfume is too strong. Please go back to the drawing board and fix the dust issue as the clumping and lightness are amazing. I will be going out this weekend and going back to my old litter. I wish I could get a refund for the two containers I have left of this little. 

I just purchased this product as a test and I am not impressed at all! Even though it didn't come in scent free form, I thought I'd test it (I live in a 3 floor walk up on the top floor and heaving 30+ boxes of litter is a pain). The perfume factor is way too strong. Cats do not like scented litter (again, I bought it as a test). The dust factor is ridiculous, it's like smoke when pouring it, which translates into breathing and tasting the dust, if you're not wearing a mask. The litter itself seems to clump OK. But once the cat leaves the box it's a trail of tears for me as I am constantly sweeping up the trail of litter left by kitty paws. I have a mat down to catch the litter, but this stuff clings to or in my cat's paws, maybe due to it's lightweight consistency (like styrofoam balls), and I have a trail that's spans the length of my condo.

I have had cats for my entire life and was intrigued by the idea that there was a new light weight litter...so I bought a container to try. It totally is NOT worth the price. The litter absorbs pretty well, but the perfume was so strong and the odor was continuous...it gave me a headache! And this litter tracks terribly. I was forever trying to clean up the tracked particles. I would NOT recommend it.

I like the fact that It is light weight but the dust is getting to be too much. The dust is all over everything and I have a covered litter box. It is a great concept, but the dust is a fatal issue for me. The room where I have the litter box is small but the dust is all over the room. As for now, I am going back to the original Tidy Cats. Hopefully, you can find a way to deal with the dust issue and still keep the weight down.

We were helping a feral cat and needed some litter. My husband struggled to find one without fragrance, but was unsuccessful. It has been a long time since I have purchased cat litter, but the fragrance in this litter is WAY too strong and can't be healthy for a cat or humans. Nasty stuff.
