[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to throat restrictions and other complications from stage 4 throat cancer and treatment, I am not able to swallow anything thicker than the Original Ensure Shakes. Even blended foods are not passing my damaged epiglottis reliably. My only viable (and probably inevitable) alternative is going back to a feeding tube. I am able to hold off that day for now. I have used all the flavors, but definitely drink Coffee Latte the majority of the time.

We tried a couple of other brands but we found it did not come close to the great taste of ensure. My mom is now 99 years old and is still drinking and enjoying ensure on a daily basis. Thank you. The actual product is good. I'm using it specifically to get me through time of a necessary soft diet due to dental work. I don't have anything else really to say about this. It is what it is. I ordered online because there was a bit of a break on the price. The only problem is that the box holding the four six packs was so heavy I couldn't get it into the house by myself. It would be good if the packaging had some kind of a strap with a handle. If it hadn't been so cold and snowy I would have opened the box out on the porch and carried the six packs in individually. I'm not a wimp but this was too heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes it gets frustrating to have to drink these nutritional products but the dark chocolate by ensure just tastes like you're giving yourself a chocolate treat! I've been made a blended smoothie out of it for an added twist. And it is great heated up in the winter for a nice hot coca drink but full of nutrients!! Don't know where I would be without this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dad will be 99 next week. At age 95 he took a fall. Although he recovered fairly well he did not regain his appetite and had swallowing issues. Without Ensure he could not have sufficient calories to survive. It is also thick enough that I do not have to add additional thickioner which he often dislikes. Thank you ensure for providing a safe drink for elderly individuals. He is not able to take the extra calorie due to the higher protein putting stress on his kidneys. Many of our older population have issues with high protein drinks and are not aware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on a tube feed and not getting enough vitamins and minerals during the day when it was recommended that I drink two bottles of Ensure during the day as the doctor attempted to put weight on my large boned frame as I only weighed 113. I loved the taste and still drink one bottle every day!

My doctor has recommended ensure and I feel much better and it has great taste when I am in a flare up, which is a lot lately. If I could afford to drink 2 of these a day I would. I am on disability and it can get expensive but great product
