Some of the medications upset my stomach and the thought of food make my nausea. Drinking Ensure gave me some of the vitamins, minerals, calories and proteins my body need while recovering. Now I still drinking Ensure because the taste is great and also is gluten free.

My mum who now has slight memory lost and is bed ridden is depending on Ensure to boost her energy and as a in between meal supplement. Shes 91 n love the taste n flavour We are relying totally on ensure to bring back her energy as she was recently discharged frm hospital and as always in the past, ensure has helped to strenghten her back .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my wife was told that she had cancer the MSK advised her to take 3 cans of ensure(dark) per day during her chemo treatment, she is currently in her 4 week of treatment. They also advised her that after treatment she should continue with Ensure at least 1 can per day. She will be under MSK as long as she is treated. Your product is not covered by Medicare but is covered by Medicaid, which she is not eligable for. Your company Abbott she make some compensation for people in her situation. The product is great.

I have tried many of these shakes of different brands. This is the only one which doesn't cause extra intestinal gas. I believe they help your health maintenance and give you extra energy to get started for the day. Some of the other brands cause extra intestinal gas during the day. I prefer this brand and the Vanilla flavor.
