So I decided to replace my regular breakfast with one Original Ensure. Energy-wise, it carries me through until lunchtime and I've tried all of the flavors and find them equally delicious.

I also like butter pecan and chocolate. Food gives me bad stomach pains. Ensure doesn't give. Me stomach pains my Dr says I need to drink more but I can't afford it . Thank you I just wish I could get some donated to me . I can't afford enough to fill me up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2011 my husband had a laryngectomy. He wasn't one of the "lucky" ones to be able to eat naturally after this type of surgery. Due to the surgery and radiation he no longer has the muscles to swallow foods and relies of gravity for any type of intake, which means only liquids. Ensure and Boost are the only foods he has. These products have the nutrition he needs to live this new normal life.

I like to drink it cold and shake it up before I drink it, almost like a milk shake. I prefer the milk chocolate flavor, but also like the dark chocolate and vanilla flavors. I drink one every day.

I don’t always have time to sit down and enjoy breakfast or lunch so I’ll drink Ensure instead and it is a good replacement for meals. Vanilla and Strawberry are tops (with Banana Nut rising) with Strawberry slightly edging out Vanilla. It has that little extra flavor that teases and pleases the palate. I recommend all of the flavors but highly recommend Strawberry for the original. Ensure is unbeatable. Others have tried but none can top it.
