I have over 20+ medical conditions and 20+ medications to take daily, including an oral chemotherapy, so I have days were food is the last thing on my mind. I have tried the Butter Pecan and Strawberry Ensure, and they are so delicious I have a hard time passing on a quick ice cold shake. I highly recommend Ensure Nutrition Shakes, they are a lifesaver for on the go meals, patients having problems eating due to medication side effects, and overall malnutrition. It physically hurts to eat at times, so it’s difficult for me to get the daily nutritional requirements I need. I drink Ensure every day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my wife was told that she had cancer the MSK advised her to take 3 cans of ensure(dark) per day during her chemo treatment, she is currently in her 4 week of treatment. They also advised her that after treatment she should continue with Ensure at least 1 can per day. She will be under MSK as long as she is treated. Your product is not covered by Medicare but is covered by Medicaid, which she is not eligable for. Your company Abbott she make some compensation for people in her situation. The product is great.
