I bought some dark chocolate Ensure original to drink for my first day after oral surgery since I was not allowed to eat anything but liquid or something soft like yogurt. Day 2 after oral surgery I'm still using the Ensure Original for 2 meals and tried yogurt. I'm getting some great nutrition to get me over the hump before I can eat solid foods and chew without pain. Thanks Ensure! Also, the dark Chocolate is yummy!

Now, at 70 years old, I'm quite active and totally enjoy working as a stagehand and cameraman. Ensure Milk Chocolate is the perfect refresher during the 15 minute breaks. Delicious. Healthy. As a fellow health care professional l must respond to this and with great enthusiasm: Contradictory to the "doctor" reviewing Ensure, I am a nurse who has worked with thousands of patients, from children to the elderly. This drink supplement is an absolute benefit at times when calories and nutrition cannot be accommodated through the traditional 3-meal intake alone. They are great for snacks and they only have 39 total carbs (Total carbs 40g - dietary fiber 1g = 39 carbs in one bottle serving) - not the 60 carbs that was erroneously suggested. Enjoy them in the fridge. They are great! Even kids will love them! Chalk full of vitamins and minerals. Yum!
