[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My elderly Mom has a great deal of problems swallowing. Food has to be pureed and doesn't taste good at all. This made problems and also effected some of her medications. Last week I had to go visit her in another state because this caused problems and put her in the hospital. There they gave her Boost choc. which she hated. Can't say I blame her. I went and got her Ensure and since she doesn't like choc and butter pecan is one of her favorite ice creams that's what I got her. I said Ma try it its like melted ice cream. She loves it.

Aside from the great flavor, what I like best is the fact that when I am on the run, and not able to stop for a meal, I can drink an Insure and put off the meal for a couple hours.

The reason Ensure is an essential part of his diet and keeps him healthy is because he requires an amount of protein in his diet that he is unable to get by just eating alone. In addition, Ensure Original is just the right amount of protein he needs in his daily diet and because it tastes good, he enjoys drinking Ensure. The Butter Pecan Ensure is his favorite and he says it tastes like the ice cream. His doctors are happy and we are happy with the results that drinking one ensure a day gives my father. I bought a case of Ensure Max with 30 grams of protein. Unfortunately, I had so much trouble opening each carton, that I could not enjoy the beverage. I actually had to use a wrench to open each carton, and that ended up destroying the top and causing leaks. It's a joke that Ensure is marketed to the elderly because very few will even be able to open it. I will never buy Ensure Max protein again until I can be sure the manufacturer will fix those tops.

It leaves you feeling full and it is great before, during, or after any meal. The vanilla taste is awesome!

Since when did Ensure use sucralose? And Carrageenan. And you call this healthy? I have been buying this for 10 years because it was an alternate to meals when I was pregnant and food was making me nauseous and I wasn't getting my daily nutrition. I continued to buy it because I love it, but this is a no go for me. I will make sure I spread the word that sucralose is now in this product. I feel betrayed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually have Ensure 5-6 times/week. I often put a cold Ensure in a blender with 5-6 large frozen strawberries and it creates a great shake. Other frozen fruits, i.e. blueberries, mangos, etc. are also very good. Sometimes I even use chocolate ice cream. SOOOO DELICIOUS! Love it!
