I don't give it to him as a substitute for a meal but after to make sure he's had the daily needed vitamins and protein. I give him several each day and it helps relive my mind and feel even between the meals that he is getting what his body needs.

I'm also loving the new flavor ~ Banana Nut! :) It's Yummy too! I have a mini fridge upstairs & Ensure is the ONLY thing I keep in stock. He wants to try the newest one you have come out with. Because of the radiation 12yrs ago he has now been losing all of his teeth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my wife was told that she had cancer the MSK advised her to take 3 cans of ensure(dark) per day during her chemo treatment, she is currently in her 4 week of treatment. They also advised her that after treatment she should continue with Ensure at least 1 can per day. She will be under MSK as long as she is treated. Your product is not covered by Medicare but is covered by Medicaid, which she is not eligable for. Your company Abbott she make some compensation for people in her situation. The product is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ensure fills you up. It tastes great. It's nutritious so I feel good about taking it everyday since I cannot eat good, decent meals everyday. My dad, (85 years old) and I drink it everyday, I started drinking first after I got sick and I introduced it to dad after he came to live with me from Japan. Dad is taking painkiller so he does not have any appetite. He refused to eat decent meals so I explained about Ensure to him. Now he drinks Ensure 3 times a day with his small portion of food.
