Nothing. I took a couple of tablets at bedtime with some water. Had tried a single dose before with zero result, apart from tummy ache. Went to bed, woke up every 2 hours with hideous stomach cramps. Finally my bowels started moving around 5 am. Managed to walk to dog, just in time to get home and spend the next 8 hours running to the toilet until it was pure liquid. Spent the following night and day after with severe cramps and bloating.

So it said to take it 30-60 minutes prior to bedtime to produce in the morning... I hadn't gone in four days, felt like I had to but couldn't go. I took it literally right before I laid down to go to sleep at 10 pm... I woke up at 2 am with the worst stomach cramps of my life, and of course I went but those stomach cramps were scary... If I do take it again which isn't likely, it will be during the day so I can actually sleep and not be up most of the night with the worst stomach cramps of my life and feeling like I'm going to die.

If you're sensitive to pills like this I would say take only one to two three is way too much. To me one is fine it will take the whole 12 hours if your stomach is not sensitive. My stomach is not sensitive and I took two and it worked a lot faster, like the 6 hours. But if you want to work faster and you take more you probably will get some form of cramps. I had some surgery a few days ago and was under general anesthesia for 8 1/2 hours. That took a toll on my intestines and digestive system causing severe constipation. Tried some high fiber drinks but those didn't do the trick. Took 2 Dulcolax tabs at 9:04am and 2 1/2 hours l was relieved and feeling much better. Works as advertised.

These are also super effective without some of the side effects at I’ve experienced with other softeners (like painful cramping). Overall these are a good option for when they’re most needed.
