Follow the instructions on the package, taking a dose before bed, and wake up ready to release. There is a little abdominal cramping, but I noticed less of this when thoroughly hydrated.

Having been constipated before and not getting good results with 1 tablet, the next time it happened I went up to 2. Took 2 at 11pm and woke up with a lot of rumbling and a knotted stomach. Tried to go but nothing yet, do I went and got a drink. As I sat down I noticed a warm feeling, I had a leaky bottom! After waddling over to the toilet I had what I can only describe as a complete evacuation. A large (but softened) stool followed by waves of diarrhoea. Nausea and diarrhoea continued for the rest of the day. It certainly worked, but it was NOT gentle. Start with 1 tablet, take 2 at your own risk

So I will say that this cleans you out, but you will wish you had gone other routes for constipation relief. NEVER take 3 tablets, the box says it's fine and I had been constipated for days so I took three, worst mistake I could have made. I have been severely sick all night with the worst diarrhea of my life, 12+ hours later I am still diarrheaing and have horrible cramps, and I am super dehydrated. I honestly feel like I have the stomach flu. Would not give to my worst enemy I do not recommend

I don't normally have any severe kind of bowel issues. But after some unhealthy brunch choices over the weekend, I found myself in a world of discomfort when I woke up at 8AM Monday morning. I was miserable - MISERABLE. When I tried to release, it felt like everything back there was literally being ripped in half. After almost crying in the bathroom at work, I got some Dulcolax and was able to take 1 pill. I went through the rest of the day in discomfort, but little by little, I could feel it getting better. I must have went more overboard than I thought because come 6pm, I still couldn't GO. I literally was preparing to go to the ER. But, FINALLY at 9:07pm, I passed EVERYTHING! This pill helped soften the hard blockage and promote moisture to all the dehydrated regions that needed it. Grateful was the only thing I felt. I HIGHLY recommend this product (along with a soft massage) to anyone currently going through the occasional "GOD HELP ME" constipation moment. We all go through it, Dulcolax makes sure we don't go through it alone.
