Make sure you follow directions and drink a full glass of water with each dose. Also pay attention to dose quantities. The adult dose is 2-4 chews. Relief is general in that this is a laxative that draws water into the intestines to help move stool through you, so it is important to drink when taking this. No cramping or discomfort too! Pregnancy has taken SUCH a toll on system. I've tried everything!! Apple juice, prune juice, stool softeners, increasing fiber intake, milk of magnesia even ... I don’t always use laxatives but I was comfortable with using these after reading about them. I took one before I went to bed as suggested and the next day I was very pleased with the results. I like that the are tablet form and easy to take. They are meant to be swallowed not chewed so that is something to keep in mind. These are nice to have on the medicine cabinet.
