I typically take 2 before I go to bed, and am ready for a trip to the bathroom by the time I get up. These tablets are coated and super easy to swallow because they are so small without leaving you with that crampy, gassy feeling, and help you to be ready for the day. You definitely want to take them with a full glass of water for best effect, but I definitely recommend them! They aren’t that expensive, either, which I really like, and definitely worth the cost for occasional relief.

Make sure you follow directions and drink a full glass of water with each dose. Also pay attention to dose quantities. The adult dose is 2-4 chews. Relief is general in that this is a laxative that draws water into the intestines to help move stool through you, so it is important to drink when taking this. No cramping or discomfort too! Obviously, keep these away from the children or big problems will occur without adult supervision! Good luck and God speed!

It worked for me really fast maybe like 2 hours in. But had some side effects nothing bad tho just a tad dizzy and nauseous for like maybe 30 minutes I read other reviews and most said it was bad but honestly it’s ok not the best or worst but I also just took one. It works but it’s not as “comfortable” as advertised.

Long story short: took the recommended dosage, began with cramps 2 hours later that escalated to borderline labor pains. Pooping and vomiting simultaneously, crying dude to severe cramps, dizziness, weakness. Got no sleep due to being woken up by the pain. Would I recommend as a method of torture? Absolutely. For “gentle” relief of constipatation? No.

This is my second time prepping for a colonoscopy. The first time I had to suffer with drinking the nasty sludge.. this time I was pleasantly surprised to find out I would be taking Dulcolax. It is now after midnight and I am sitting in the bathroom rocking bath and forth trying to find comfort, I took the first two pills this morning at nine and the second set at Five PM. Per Doctors orders. It has been hours and my stomach has been hurting all day. My stomach burns, The Ache is constant. I am nauseous, have broken out in cold sweats and yes I have wenr.. over and over and over but the pain is still here! The word Gentle should NOT be on the box. It works but it is the Devil in a tiny pill!
