I took one tablet of the regular Ducolax at bedtime. I was awakened several hours later with searing pain in my abdomen and nausea. I had not taken a Ducolax tablet in over 2 years and have never experienced this type of discomfort. I don't understand why I had this reaction. My PCP said some people do have this type of reaction and should not use Ducolax again.

However I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have to rush to the bathroom. It was a very smooth process with no side effects. Packaging was easy to open and to seal the box back up. I have chronic constipation (IBS) and these little pills are like magic. The only thing I’d be prepared to sit on the toilet for a while. It flows out like lava. It also causes a little bit of stomach discomfort but that’s because your waste is breaking down.
