The reason for one star is in description it says memory foam. A little misleading. It is a normal cheap non conforming pillow with I', guessing a layer of memory foam. I guess on the pluss side it's much, much lighter then a true memory foam pillow.

I love that it has a cover on it that keeps the pillow cool all night without having to constantly flip the pillow! I'm really enjoying this pillow!

I bought this pillow a little over 2 years ago from Sam’s club. This pillow lasts a long time and you can remove the cover to wash it. When you wash it, the ‘cooling’ effect does NOT wash out like a lot of other brands’ products do. This is an amazing pillow for someone who prefers a firm yet soft memory foam pillow. I am a back sleeper and love it.

It stays cool, and I found that I didn’t flip my pillow at all, I feel like I slept really good, better than I have in a long time. The only problem I have is that it has a chemical type odor , from the foam it’s made of. I need to buy a pillow protector to put on first, then the pillow case . Other than that - it’s a great pillow!

My main issue is that I always get hot at night and even a comfortable pillow can mess up with my sleep if it gets too warm. I found a few decent pillows over the years but they were never perfect. I did not expect much when I was reading the Serta Forever cool pillow description and thought I would be disappointed but I am glad I was wrong. First of all, the pillow provides a good neck support without being too firm, I am a back sleeper and this is important for me as I do not sleep well on pillows that lack support and easily lose their shape. Given that it is a gel memory foam pillow, it did have the usual smell but I just let the gel foam aired out for a few hours and that strongly reduced the smell. This is probably not an issue for most but my sense of smell is sensitive so I always do that. All in all, I really like my new Serta Forever cool pillow and it gets a perfect score from me.

The pillows offers so much support without being too firm. I need to get my husband his own, he keeps trying to use mine.

This pillow truly does what it says its going to! At first I was skeptical, but decided it wouldn't hurt to try. Even before I took the pillow out of the packaging, I slid my hand to the middle and by gosh! It was comfortably cool, and just right on the firmness/softness. I sleep 1000 times better! It melds around the head and neck — providing a soft and firm feeling at the same time. Awesome night sleep on this pillow.
