I had the luxury of sleeping on this before buying in a friends guest room. This has the perfect amout of give where needed. This will definitely extend the life of my current mattress. However, you will need deep pocket sheets to accommodate the added 4".

This mattress topper provides the perfect balance between snuggly comfort and support. I have used it for a week and have been sleeping better and more soundly during that time. My mattress without the topper was fine but it did not have a pillow top. The addition of the topper has added the cocooning effect of a pillow top but with the added support and benefits of memory foam. I highly recommend the product.

Chemical smell is strong out of box & weeks later can still smell. Can smell it in your clothes after sleeping on bed. Also warning labels with product says highly flammable! Still waiting for chemical smell to go away! Love how it feels. Conflicted on weather or not to return. Would recommend a better product without the chemical smell

We purchased a king and full size topper just like this one in the past and loved them. However, this full topper we bought for our guest room has a strong, very bad chemical smell. We aired it out for days before putting sheets on the bed. But then we had guests and had to use the bed so I ran a fan and used febreeze to mask the smell a little. Took the sheets off after they left, washed everything because it smelled like the memory foam funk, aired it out for days and thought it was better. I laid on the bed yesterday and smelled it again! Very frustrating!

It was advertised to be a 4" cooling gel memory foam mattress topper but it did not have cooling gel at all. I was later told that the 4" pads are not made with cooling gel only the 3"or less size. That's false advertisement. The zipper on the pad topper was also broken when it arrived. I had to then pack up the fully expanded pad (which is a huge deal) and return it via FedEx for refund. I then ordered the 3" version of the pad, which did have the blue cooling gel and I'm satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this about a month ago and I really hate it. It slides off the mattress very easily, and I find myself pulling it back on to the mattress several times a day. Plus, it's also very warm. It seems to hold your body temperature. It would've been a nightmare to roll it up and return it so, I just kept it. I guess they count on people like me who feel it just isn't worth the hassle. Don't waste your money on this product.

The odor is very strong, burn your eyes and make throat sore strong. After keeping it opened up in the garage for a week we brought it inside. Odor still very strong but better. I think we are about 5 weeks into using it and it still smells but not terrible. Maybe it will totally dissipate, hope no health risks involved with the odor. I probably should have figured out how to return it. It also scoots around on the bed, I have to pull it back even on the edges every couple days. Too expensive to just throw away. If I had it to do over I would have paid more attention to other reviews about the terrible smell and done something different.

I like the comfort of this product, but without straps or mattress fitting, it does move and have to be put back in position about every second or third night. The mattress that I have is very firm (I can't stand it, but my late husband wanted it for his back), so with this product, the bed is much more comfortable for me. I have fibromyalgia, so a totally firm mattress is not a good product for me, but now I am getting better sleep using the pillow top memory foam mattress topper. I just wish it fit around the mattress so it would not slide.

Everyone's mattress preferences are different, so what works great for one person may not work at all for others. This was my experience with this mattress topper. I purchased it because my mother in law has one and absolutely loves it, but after two nights on it, I had to take it off the bed and return it. It may be the underlying mattress's fault, as it is very firm (which is why I'm in the market for a topper). I just couldn't get comfortable on it, but that is just me. All I can say is try it. You might be like my mother in law and love it.

Is really 3 inches before the added mattress cover and you just sink in it. In addition it was slightly wider than the bed so is very hard to put the sheets in it. Would return but is impossible to pack into a box. Sorry I ever purchase this product.
