We moved into a new house that has well water. Water is all I drink all day, and the well water is horrible. I CANNOT drink it. We were buying 2 cases of bottled water each week, and knowing all those bottles were ending up in a landfill was terrible. I bought the Brita pitcher and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

All britta filters are consistent in taste and the water is similar tasting to the NYC water that comes of the catskills mountains. Once water goes though this filter it removes all hardness making it taste great.

I love this product and will keep buying it till the day tap water has a giant brita filter at the plant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this Brita pitcher for several years. I enjoy the convenience of just filling up the pitcher at my kitchen faucet. The filter last a bit longer than advertised. The water tastes great and refreshing. This particular filter is larger than the newer ones and in my opinion, lasts longer and removes more toxins than the smaller ones.

I don't trust the tap water & we don't have the side-by-side refrigerator with the water dispenser in the door. I also use the filtered water in the coffee maker & when I make ice tea.

Purchased the three pack at the same time we ordered pitcher system, to same time and money shopping, and shipping. This is a really nice filter, and are individually sealed until ready to use; so we can store the handily until needed. and we generally saved 15% over the single unit price.

There are no carbon particles that require rinsing with pitchers of water, although I still rinse and soak for a minute. I then use the water for the plants. I purchase in bulk and I change my filters a little more frequently than required as I do not like seeing the trapped particles on the screen.

They definitely seem last longer and they're close to the same price as store brand anyway. I really appreciate the different styles of filters as well! Next I'll be trying out the Brita Long last filters
