My first one was a gift from my niece and I haven;t used any other filtration system for my drinking water. An awesome product and my family has enjoyed drinking cleaner, healthier water for years. I use it mostly for drinking water and for making coffee, and he uses it to make his "flavored" water drinks (powders). It's always cold and clean-tasting, if you know what I mean, and we love the reminder button on top of our pitcher. I also found out that these filters are recylable (special programs online).

I've ditched environmentally-unfriendly disposable plastic bottled water and I've always got cold, filtered water in the fridge thanks to the Brita standard pitcher filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just figured out that the new advanced filters aren't working correctly with my older pitcher even though it advertises to work with all of them. The water filters about as quickly as I can fill the top portion with water. My family has been drinking unfiltered water for months now. This is a huge disappointment and waste of money. I'd not recommend to another.

I have always hated drinking water straight from the faucet because you never know what all is in it. The Brita makes access to the water easier and it tastes so much better!

They agree with me that the water does not have that slight smell and is always cold. A higher review in my opinion, does not exsist. Oh, the other 2 grandchildren are 21 & 24 - no more Nonna house.

This filter is amazing, its very easy to add/remove from your pitcher and it last a long time, in addition the Brita filter reminders allow you to quickly and easily change your filter once its time to replace the filter. I love that these filters are affordable as well especially if you buy them in bulk.
