I also am very picky when it comes to water. I don't usually like Dasani or Aquafina but Brita filtered water tastes great to me and I couldn't imagine not having it.

Just take out the old one, slip the new filter in, fill your Britta bottle with water, wait about 20 minutes and I dump all the water out and again fill it with water. All done! I change mine about every 2 months. 3 in the family prefer the taste of the Britta water to the "so-called" filtered water in the bottle at the grocery stores. We each carry our own refillable bottle of Britta water where ever we go.

My family decided to invest in a few Brita products to help subside the taste. We are extremely pleased with the results! No more chlorine smell or taste! Not only is the metal taste gone, but we can even see how much of the "ugly stuff" the filter is removing by the amount of black crystals that show in the water-filling basin! I definitely recommend this product.

This pitcher was the cheapest one available when I went to the store, and it's worked perfectly. Tap water now tastes like clean bottled water and the filters are inexpensive as well. This filter came with it, and works well.

Also the pipes in my building contain lead so I feel safer when I filter all my water for drinking and cooking. Overall the filters are a necessary in my everyday life.

This made my tap water taste amazing! My tap water tastes very bad due to a bad water softener. After using the Brita it tastes amazing (even better then my schools newest design of elkay water-bottle filler drinking fountains!) I know that my water is being filtered because of the carbon in the top tray, it is an unsightful thing but I know my water is being filtered when I know that isn't passing through. If you are using this remember to push down TIGHTLY to reduce any leaks and make sure your water is filtered properly.
