[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the convenience of refilling the Brita filter pitcher. The filter does a great job of filtering out chlorine taste from the tapwater. The only thing I don't like about my pitcher is that the lid doesn't seem to snap on very well.

Also,up to 70% of these bottled waters are simply tap water, making the product not even worth purchasing. With a Brita Pitcher filter, I feel better about the amount of plastic I am saving, and have great tasting water at my fingertips.

This made my tap water taste amazing! My tap water tastes very bad due to a bad water softener. After using the Brita it tastes amazing (even better then my schools newest design of elkay water-bottle filler drinking fountains!) I know that my water is being filtered because of the carbon in the top tray, it is an unsightful thing but I know my water is being filtered when I know that isn't passing through. If you are using this remember to push down TIGHTLY to reduce any leaks and make sure your water is filtered properly.

All britta filters are consistent in taste and the water is similar tasting to the NYC water that comes of the catskills mountains. Once water goes though this filter it removes all hardness making it taste great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now owned this pitcher for over 10 years and I absolutely Love the filters, so easy to install in my pitcher. I have never had a hard time trying to find and buy these filters, maybe some day I will purchase a newer pitcher, but the one I own still works fine, so why replace something that doesn't need it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To make a long story short, we ended up with a non-Brita filter to use in our water pitcher. Right a way there was an issue with the water running around the filter. And what water did go through the filter went through much faster than our usual Brita, telling me that it wasn't filtering very effectively. Then the water just didn't have the same fresh taste as with the Brita filter. We threw away the off brand and went back to Brita in less than a week, so it ended up costing us more money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this filter to be good. Great for its pricing but filters water very fast, so gives a doubt that whether it is actually filtering all the compounds. Also please include lead and other harmful chemicals from this filter reduction.
