[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this filter in my mini Brita pitcher and it filters things out very well. My water tastes so clean. The only problem I have with it is that filters are kind of pricey and only last approximately 2 months.

It uses the filters I can buy at my local grocery store and the same filter fits both pitchers. I don't like the taste of the plastic I get when I buy bottled water so the dog gets that water and I wash and reuse the bottles with my filtered water. It's the only water I drink. Someday I'll get a bottle that I can use with my filtered water as I don't drink tap water. I totally love my old pitcher and my new pitcher that tells me when it's time to change the filter as well as the Brita filters I use.

My only complaint is that the filters are way too expensive. I sometimes have to put off buying new filters because I just don't have the money

Both, my fiance' and I could barely taste the difference from the first cup we had enjoyed from our Brita Mechanisms to the last cup I just downed to replace it. We thank you all there at Brita ! Just about everyone I have given water from my Brita Pitcher has said "this tastes so good". It does make my water an option for all to drink....and they do!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Brita filter in the pitcher all the time. But I have noticed that on this last filter every time I open the pitcher it has many little black specs in it. It's coming out of the filter. I don't know why this keeps happening.

Tap water does not compare at all to the fresh and clean filtered water I get from my Brita. Bottled water is so costly and the discarded bottles cause so much damage, its a no brainer for me to use Brita, most cost effective and clean way to get my water.
