[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this filter, it is easy to use and I have bought a lot of them for my space picture. I use it every day at work and it isn't the same with a generic filter. I know I have tried them in my Brita pitch and it was just not the sam.

Also the pipes in my building contain lead so I feel safer when I filter all my water for drinking and cooking. Overall the filters are a necessary in my everyday life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older pitcher and purchased a new one with the newer filters. These are so much easier to use. I don't need to soak them like the old ones and they don't release the initial charcoal into the pitcher top when water is first going in.

It would be beneficial to have the directions match. Is there a need to soak the filter before inserting and discarding the first 2 or 3 pitchers of water? Also, a reminder to line up the filter with the notch on the filter with the part where it is inserted would be helpful.

Brita is a product that I've seen in my family for years. It's very reliable and I love the sticker reminders that can me placed in front of the pitcher to know when it's time for a new filter.

I started to use brita filtered tap water for my 9 month old son about a year back, since then we have never used bottled mineral/purified bottled water except Brita Filtration systems. The water is crystal clear and tastes good. I would not hesitate to recommend brita products to my friends and family.

You can clearly taste the difference between other bottled water and tap water. The lifespan lasts very long and available at every grocery store. It's great to know I'm saving the environment and drinking to better health.
