If the silicone cap on the solution bottle seems to be bulging, we recommend doing the following: -Attempt to unscrew/rotate the cap counterclockwise by 180 degrees or half a rotation. -After this step, tilt the bottle on its side for 2-3 seconds to check for liquid leakage. -If no leakage, insert the bottle into the device. -If there is leakage, move the bottle upright, screw back on 180 degrees or rotate clockwise to reclose. We suggest making sure that the printed side of the pad is being firmly pressed onto the PowerMop head. You can also spray some solution onto the floor and let the pad soak some of it up in order to get it to stick. As well, we'd expect you to receive everything that's listed on the packaging. We're dedicated to making it easier and convenient to have your home sparkling clean, and lot of thought and research goes into our product designs. For best results, we recommend that always sweep or vacuum the floor before mopping. When using the PowerMop, spray cleaning solution onto the floor by pushing the spray button on the handle down for 2 or 3 seconds to release enough solution to clean 10 square feet of floor. Spray a generous amount of solution on the area you are cleaning. Let the solution sit for 10-15 seconds. If the pad doesn't glide smoothly, spray more solution. We recommend that you clean the least dirty area first, saving the dirtiest floor for last. We hope these tips help you see sparkling results in the future.
